Apart from the biased, problematic & misandristic way the malpractice of dowry is explored. This is a Spectacular film.
8 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Didn't saw the movie when it released, as I heard somewhere it depicts indian middle class homes in a problematic way. A friend of mine suggested that it's a very good movie, I should watch it & one day it was uploaded on YouTube by someone. By the end of it I had tears in my eyes & wished its length was atleast 45 min more .

Yes, the malpractice of dowry & Indian society is shown in a very biased, misandristic way. But even after that it was such an emotional & hilarious movie. Akshay is back at his comedic & emotional best, the bond of him & his sisters is so emotional, heart touching & relatable. It makes you feel so much love & gratitude towards your family. The writing, direction is superb but special mention to the music by Himesh Reshamiya which is pure magic and also to Neeraj Sood who played the role of Akshay's future Father in law. In the cast he stood out along with Akshay who gave one of his best acting performance till date.

Go watch it with your families, it will definitely touch your heart strings.

Great Action, Awful social commentary, laughable conclusion
27 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
No need to elaborate much, this movie doesn't need much of explanation it's just outright stupid and dumb. To the movie's credit Action scenes, comedy scenes and scenes involving jaideep ahlawat were really nice. Both Jaideep and Ayushmann did a really commendable job in acting. Scenes involving both of them are very entertaining. But the social commentary and conclusion is so ridiculous and haphazard, that it ruins the experience of the movie. Entertaining in parts but just an overall awful experience. Without getting much into spoilers and plot details, the general message according to this movie is that Everyone's bad; from media to audience, to politicians, to police everyone except the 'Action Hero' X-D X-D. I can see why this movie bombed so badly at the box office X-D X-D.

Overdose of Style with Scarcity of Meaning and Substance
9 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Lokesh is one of my favorite director and my favorite film of him is Master, it was Awesome combination of storytelling, emotions and Fan service of Vijay.

Here, I guess Lokesh was trying to live his childhood dream and encorporated everything he loves in a single movie and tried to make it the greatest movie of all time but he only succeeded partially. As a Refrence I would like to say 'he was trying to make a Guy Ritchie film with a SS Rajamouli film with a Michael Bay film with with a Quentin Tarantino film' all four in one along with full tribute and Fan service to kamal hasan & full utilisation of Fahadh Faasil. In the process he went into overkill mode & as a result the film visually looks Awesome with some great mass moments but that's about it, you take nothing home with you. You don't care about the story or the characters much, you just wait for the next mass moment and action scene. Also in trying to tick so many boxes he wasted awesome Vijay Sethupathi ,who was phenomenal in Master but he had nothing much to do in this film, he was just a generic villian whose only role was to growl looking at the camera.

Now I am going to talk a bit about SPOILERS for those who have seen the movie, and for those who haven't

SPOILER ALERT

Everyone's Excited about Surya's cameo, his character was build up like he was the boss of all bosses; but I didn't feel one bit intimidated or intrigued by his presence.

Instead of the star presence and the gravity that he has there was nothing new or exciting about his character, he was shouting, trying to be menacing and unpredictable but his role just went flat for me. It didn't kept me hooked or Excited on how he would produce a great challenge and antagonist to Kamal Hasan's character in the next part, it just looked like Surya was trying to play a drug addict mob boss villian.

All in all it's a decent watch for Kamal Hasan, Fahadh Faasil some action sequences and mass moments but nothing more than that.

Did I watch a different movie than others ???
11 February 2022
I saw the movie and then I saw all the reviews and reactions of people which are so polarised. It's really wierd to see such reactions from people, story is good and screenplay is spectacular with stunning visuals and few plotholes, but very unpredictable and different. Acting was spectacular by everyone especially Ananya Pandey and Deepika Padukone, cinematography and character arcs are spectacular. There are some wierd cuts in edititing but overall a Great, different and Artistic movie and it looks like it's made with a lot of passion and soul. I am still thinking did I watch a different movie than others ?? :-D.

Movie and story Excellent, Political commentary 👎👎👎👎
28 November 2021
Warning: Spoilers
As a Movie it's spectacular and story arc and screenplay are fantastic 👌. But the political commentary is beleivable only to a certain extent after that it turns into more like appeasement of Schedule castes and Schedule tribes along with demonising the other castes. I didn't like the politics and messaging of the film for the most extent, but in the end I do agree that all should live with peace, harmony and love.

Indrans nailed it 🙌🙌
3 October 2021
What a great movie, awesome performances. Indrans and Sreenath Bhasi steal the show. Indrans has now become one of my favorite actor, effortless and subtle acting. What range of performance in a single film, from innocent to heartbroken to goofy to depressed and anxious to absolutely hilarious to gutwrenchingly painful , such huge range in just one film. Hats Off to Indrans Sir.

As a man I can unabashedly say it, I CRIED my hearts out after watching this movie, my all time Fav movie...
17 August 2021
There's nothing much to say, about this movie which hasn't already been said before all I can add to it is what bieng a kind hearted, innocent, pure at heart, religious and a courageous man has to go through in his life, and how he will still stand out as the bravest and the best and the greatest without compromising his core values and without even asking for it. Those who forgive are the strongest and not the ones who fight. (Tears rolling down )

The Best and the most emotional GOT episode Yet
8 June 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Brienne and Jamie's relationship is so complicated and so beautiful, Their relationship and journey together is my most favourite thing in all of the GOT until now. To see Jaimie become from what he was in the start of the series and who he became now and to see all the overwhelming emotions coming in him and what he is going through and why he is how he is and he's not all that bad, he's starting to care for someone. He and Brienne have seen so many things together, their freindship, there love care and respect for each other is there even though it's unsaid and I could feel it. All of it made me very emotional, i was almost crying.

I also loved to see how silently and smartly cunning Margery Tyrell is, and is going about her business manipulating people. I can't wait to see when Daenerys Targaryen ,Arya Stark and Jon Snow will come around in Westeros and how that will bring the story forward and how much drama and action it will cause. All in all it was a very emotional and fun episode, the best in game of thrones Yet. And I am positive that I am always going to remember this episode as one of the highlights of this TV show.
