I think I'd rather walk the green mile than watch it again. Terrible.

Trautmann
(2018)
Brilliant
30 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Fantastically interesting concept which was well executed with brilliant acting and script. Few criticisms that it glossed over Trautmann's past but with recognition of his medals and his failure to intervene on the murder of a child (in reality it was a massacre of adults apparently) I don't believe the criticism to be entirely just.
And then the Americans got involved
4 July 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Very good TV show very funny and then the most ridiculous storyline between Beverley and Matt happens, a totally out-of-character and cheap bit of writing for what was a clever and light-hearted show. An unoriginal American twist. Sad.
Good episode with a moment of magic

Entertaining
14 June 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Bit like Sharknado or seeing a kid draw their parents with 4 legs, it's entertaining. With a relatively happy (although needlessly abrupt) ending, the horrific writing strayed from the general gloomy-finish that Black Mirror always provides. A truly strange episode.
A Risk
14 June 2019
An unusual episode that would leave non-US Office fans confused but this episode was for the fans, caricaturing the already caricatured actors into a home movie. These unique episodes don't alway payoff, thinking back to the episode of flashbacks last season, but this one had me laughing the entire way through. Puck off, Goldenface!
A warning of the political right
23 May 2019
Very well-made and slick production with good and generally good writing, although could be a little more light-hearted. I like the concept, Emma Thompson's role is growing and I'm sure the show will grow with it.
My only issue with the programme is it heeds the warnings of the right whilst showcasing the problems caused by society ignoring the warnings from the political left.

Almost perfect

The cinematography, acting, scenery, directing etc was all fantastic. The story was great, the only real issue is with the series feeling a bit rushed. But it does so much right, shame people are forgetting that part.
Almost Perfect
13 May 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The CGI, directing, music, all fantastic as always (people are possibly beginning to expect such phenomenal work, thereby not giving it its deserved credit)
The storyline, consisting of numerous character archs: 1. Jamie's complete character arch (not all character arch's have to make the person a better man!),
2. Danaerys, an expected arch but the sheer level of madness was still a shock
3. Qyburn, being killed by his own creation
4. Mountain and the Hound, anticipated. (Finally, somebody calling Sandor by his name)
2 real downside to the episodes
1. is Varys, an incredibly witty, interesting and clever character getting executed for committing treason with the Danaerys' close advisors. Lazy.
2. How did Jamie just escape a guarded tent?
And a quick 3rd point...why, if the Mountain is unkillable, would he wear armour?

Good but Not Great for the Best Ever TV Series
17 April 2019
Warning: Spoilers
The cinematography, the CGI, the setting, the money poured into the production was all on display and is as good as it gets.
What drags this episode down was not just the mediocre scriptwriting, not just the plot, but just how not Game of Thrones the series 8 opener "Winterfell" was. Since when was GOT known for its predictability? This episodes biggest crimes being the predictable "plot twist" with Jon Snow's discovery; or the reunions.
I hope the series will stick to what makes this TV show so great and and continue to be unpredictable rather than appeal to the fandom.

Our Planet

The beginning of a new era
5 April 2019
With 6 of the top 10 IMDb user-rated TV shows being either a science or space documentary, with 4 being produced in the last couple of years, these type of documentaries are the future of television. Netflix have now had a sniff, next comes the Amazon's and the Sky's. And I, for one, cannot wait.

Breaking In
(2018)
Wanted to break out
3 July 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Bad acting, worse plot, shockingly cheesy script, lacked realism and came out having no connection with the cast whatsoever.
Moment of the movie for me is the fact that it's called "breaking in" fully expecting an elaborative scheme to break in. And how did she break in? Because the bad guy left the door open. Joke
