Ted Lasso: (I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea (2023)
We're back
So after last week's scene setter, this week felt like we were right back in the swing of all things Ted. Yet, there was a noticeable lack of Ted!
We're only 2 episodes in but there's a feeling that we could be setting up a future without Ted? Big focus on Roy today. Jamie continues his journey to mini-Ted and Rebecca brilliant.
I have my own theories on this season which I won't post but I just hope that even without Jason, this once in a lifetime programme will continue. It makes my heart burst every single week. The best TV programme since Sopranos (albeit very different)
Richmond for life x.
Black Bird: The Place I Lie (2022)
Superb
Fantastic episode. Very emotional storytelling with acting masterclasses from Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser. Will be gutted when this is over and it deserves a bigger audience than Apple TV can give it. Surely awards will come beckoning for the 2 leads.
Brilliant television - first class and one of the best episodes of any series I've seen.
Ted Lasso: Man City (2021)
Best yet?
This programme keeps raising the bar. Longer episode this week. Jason Sudeikis shines (again) as does Hannah Waddingham, but everyone brilliant. 4 episodes to go and so much happening. Best tele show ever.
Ted Lasso: Headspace (2021)
Different but still amazing!
Great episode yet again from the most consistently brilliant programme on TV. Tinged with a bit of sadness and a sense of a few things at breaking point this week - no spoilers but it gave episode a different feel from usual 'feel good' factor. Sarah Niles is absolutely brilliant yet again, Jason Sudekis is a class act and shows a different side to Ted. Brett Goldstein and Juno Temple are great as always and Nick Mohammed is unbelievable.
Ted Lasso Fridays - bloody love them.
