My Husband & I have created a special place I our hearts for all the actors throughout the 25 seasons. In order to keep our attention and Brit Box dollars, the production company has changed cast and crew. The seamless 2 part storyline has provided us with nail biting excitement. We are frequently stay up to 3 AM because we are not able to pull away from watching the talented actors as they assist detective solve their case. We have learned so much and ask those who represent the actors to push producers to move forward with more seasons. Your crew, Director, props, make up, and the person who knows how to shoot from airplanes enhance every episode. This is a a winner, please keep those bodies on the slabs.

We are attracted to British Police Procedurals & related thrillers from Brit Box & Acorn. Sometimes we need a break from nail biting tv shows.

This is buddy film with a sexual twist.

A reviewer said sad, there are no tears here, every character is exactly where he or she should be. The characters explain orthodox Jews from Brooklyn in a subtle as well as humourous manner. The culture in Brooklyn, recognized in this film is simple, good people get along with good people. Amen. I recommend this to anyone over 13 because there is a certain sexual tension. There is no drugs or other criminal intentions. There is warmth and affection. Not bad in today's world.

You will enjoy watching and laughing episode after episode as Mr. Davies and his talented guest actors bounce lines off each other. The series is humanistic as well as humorous. Thank you Brit Box for introducing me to to this show.

A simply intelligent detective who has a lonely life, but is quite comfortable with that life style. Watch M I 5, Ruth, is an analyst, unassuming, mousy-loner. Excellent actor who works in a high- anexity job. I think that some people after an aggressive day, may decide to turn off the heat, chatter with some uncomplicated dinner and quiet evening.

This film puts the viewer in the middle of WW2. The setting Holland as Nazi government enters Kaiser Wilhelm's Palace in exile. What happens next, is the telling of a story that will have you discussing the characters, the actors, and the future for these people for days. We may not be in the office but we can share "a water cooler moment"

1930's in UK, English humor, proper-educated persons who enjoy a good amount of gossip. The polite scarcasim is an experience that only few can carry on! The inclusion of Guru to teach yoga proves that saying "everything old is new again"

There you are walking down a street and you turn a corner BOOM! you are lost in the past🤦 Breathe because the people think you are the one who is tipsy. The first 2 episodes may seem a bit boring BUT STAY WITH THE SERIES. The actors characterization over time melt you down and have you laughing, angry, or discovering your decision if you had turned that corner💁 Be safe, and Enjoy! Enjoy! 🙋

I am an over 65 year old female and I laughed. Actually, this is listed as action, there are lots of jumping, yelling, fast cars and pretty sexy girls but they were all comical! Enjoy your night at home with a laugh 😃 we have enough tragedy during the day.

I finished series 8 and there is a graphic for series 9 which indicates No Content?🤷 I looked on filmrise but no luck there 🤦 I found U tube had clip and episodes. Now there is a Series 10 I have partially watched. Ok Acorn Fans and mystery lovers, Can we please find Series 9?💁🆘

Some creative types enjoy writing scripts and taking it ever so slowly. Now, is that time to understand Alexa and her surroundings. The cast has a reason for being in her space. We need to look between the lines and understand why she is important to these characters. BTW, MELBOURNE IS FABULOUS!

We watched this show via our Amazon Fire Sick which makes recommendations. The actors were familiar to us,from Inspector Lewis, Downton Abby and various programs offered on Acorn and Prime. We were taken back with the reality of the British and German soldiers existing on this small Channel Island. The people of this island being invaded by the Germans and adapting to their captivity which comprised their morals. The TV show related the horrors of war with the explanation of the background of the characters. Actors who understand the individual;then become that person, portray the that character, that we the audience can relate to or not.. We are disappointed that the production company ended the show after one season. We are happy that there are more parts for actors to take on and make it their own!

We have been watching Midsomer Murders for about 1 year. We use our Amazon Fire Stick and subscribe to Acorn TV. Now, we binge watch! Totally, free Saturday nights and Midsomer Murders. This is thinking it out and discovering "who did it" before DCI Barnaby! He is one dedicated Detective. He loves Joyce and Cully; however, quite funny when he arrives at a restaurant, only to turn around, because with that twinkle in his eye, he figured out who the perp is. We appreciate these actors, although we are painfully aware there will be a change in cast. We are watching Season 9 and as previous reviewers have said this is a solid detective show. We say we need to visit the area where the program is filmed; however, we are not sure if we should move there? (HA HA) We have visited London twice and have spent time in North Yorkshire. We consider ourselves anglophiles when repeat very British words. Loving our nights with Midsomer Murders!

This production put us in the center of the action. I have seen the stage version and the movie. The staging on various sets enabled the director to expand his vision of the stage play. Viewing the dance numbers with the talent is a 10, but think about the staging of the actors as they rode from stage to stage via the bus. The production crew had to be choreographed. Live shots in the rain can not be easy; however the play must go on! Bravo to cast and crew for bringing this delightful musical center stage to TV Land. We, the viewers, need more musical high points as we experienced tonight. There are way to many loud explosions in the real world. Directors, Producers, allow everyone to have a front row seat. Let our children share the joy and excitement of the Broadway/Cinema musical. Actors shout out to anyone who will listen "we need to put on a show," and that there accomplished actors who can sing out with spirit and love.
