The concept of "not being able to not sing", a dreadful double negative, is so improbable that it swallows any and all brilliance from the cast to a point that, credit is due, I dare to describe as the birth of a Sci-Fi blackhole.
It was not enough to bring the Lower Decks cartoon cast to life, now they did a musical... what is next?
A zombie episode?
Star Trek meets Star Wars?
Dr. Emmet "Doc" Brown -Back to the Future- meets Pike?
The Time Tunnel travelers land on the Enterprise's bridge?
One thing we must admire: how the authors won the battle against falling in the depths of good Sci-Fi. They killed it. We can only hope there is no "encore".
Gene Roddenberry's ghost, please come and haunt the writers?
