The Night Agent: The Devil We Know (2023)
OMG 30yo Maddie 😂
I'm really enjoying this show, but I can't tolerate 30yo Maddie, yes, she is 30 years old and looks it, crying and whining. Such a put off lol
But overall, really enjoying this show and I really look forward to the 2nd Season.
Gabriel is great and first saw him on The Big C with Laura Linney.
He's grown into a very handsome man.
Hopefully this show stays entertaining and hopefully we can get multiple Seasons.
So many words are required so that's why I am blabbing on and on lol, but I definitely enjoy this show and look forward to future Seasons.
Keep up the good writing and acting, for the most part.
This Is Us: Forty: Part One (2020)
The Pandemic: It Happened. George Floyd: It Happened.
This episode wasn't the most exciting, but it was hardly an episode lower than a solid 7.
I gave the episode a 10 to make up for the absurdly uneducated low star reviews.
You may not like the fact that the Pandemic happened, but it did. It wasn't just in the U. S. it is a worldwide health issue that killed many lives. Liberals had nothing to do with it and you-know-who is the one who rushed out the vaccine so try shifting your imaginary blame on the ones who actually were there when it started.
You may also not like the fact that George Floyd was murdered and the man who did it was tried and is now serving time as his punishment. You can wish it away all you want, but it happened.
This episode chose to focus on real events that were happening in real time and made absolute sense in the shows context. You may not like it or agree with it, but guess what? It happened.
American Horror Story (2011)
Hotel - Lady Gaga is Awful.
Finally got through this mess of a season after years and years of trying.
Lady Gaga makes Madonna look like Meryl Streep in the acting category. Wooden and playing her awful vamp character that she played for years.
The writing was also bad. They took a very average looking woman (Gaga) and put her in sex scene after set scene. There isn't an ounce of sex appeal in Lady Gaga's looks. Sorry.
Now this season was much better than the last 2-3, but my God, the way they made Gaga the star was a huge misfire. So cringe.
There were definitely some entertaining moments and most of the cast held their own and made it entertaining, so it wasn't a complete failure.
I just wish Ryan Murphy would get back to making AHS as good as those first two seasons especially. Those were some amazing seasons!
Roseanne: First Cousin, Twice Removed (1993)
Funny Episode
I don't get the hate. This is a funny episode and Tom Arnold didn't write this episode so either that was a lie about Joan writing in her autobiography how much she loathed the writing/script or Joan is a liar.
Sure, this episode isn't as funny as several of the episodes, but Joan commands the scenes and I find her to be quite funny.
All in all, quite an enjoyable episode.
Not sure why I have to type out so much for this review to count, but I am just going to keep typing until it meets the character criteria.
On and on I type, still trying to meet the criteria.
And there, I finally met it.
Six Feet Under: That's My Dog (2004)
Completely unbelievable
I can see how some might consider this a great episode if any of David's storyline was event remotely believable.
Multiple times David had a chance to take this little wimp down and many times the guy put the gun down. The one Chance David took, he runs 10 feet and hides? How about you take the gun? Common sense.
Then a million other times David doesn't try to fight back at all, just throwing his life away.
The acting was fine, but without good writing, it just doesn't matter.
Such an absurd left turn of a story.
By the end of this episode, you are almost touting for the twirp with the gun.
Lame storyline.
Uncoupled (2022)
Enjoyable, but...
I actually enjoyed this show, but let's be honest.
Neil Patrick Harris is slightly above average and I'd say only because he has a decent body.
He looks older than his age and the fact that they kept throwing model type hot guys at him was just not believable.
Then getting to make out with two hot straight in real life actors? (Gilles Marini and David A. Gregory). Ugh (jealous).
The one guy they had NPH actually date was the only believable looking person that matched NPH.
Total NPH vanity project, as he is an executive producer.
I'd give it an 8 overall, but due to some low ratings, I voted 10 to hopefully get more viewers so we can get a Season 2.
Let's just hope it is a bit more believable, if there is a Season 2.
Overall, pretty enjoyable.
Better Call Saul: Something Unforgivable (2020)
TheFearmaker: What's Unforgivable
We are TIRED of the constant mentions of Kim, which is your exact critique of, Better Call Saul, itself...
You give more time to Kim in every 'review' that you post...
That's unforgivable.....
If you don't like the show, why do you still watch....?
Why do you talk about other people's reviews every single week? Week in and week out, you talk about two things: Fake reviews, and, you guessed it: KIM WEXLER.
Let it go and enjoy the show.
If not, head over to Netflix and watch, Breaking Bad on repeat.
Better Call Saul is it's own show. Not Breaking Bad.
Once you realize this, you might enjoy it a bit more...
GLOW: Desert Pollen (2019)
Great Episode!
Nice to see some male nudity, finally. Not only men watch this show.
I swear they set out to show everyone naked this season 😂
Looks like Debbies setting herself up for another great season. Hope she doesn't crash and burn!
Mindhunter: Episode #1.1 (2017)
Too Much Forcing of Main Character
I'm enjoying the show, but I can't help but be distracted by Jonathan Groff's character.
He is a gay broadway actor and it seems they are really forcing you to believe he is straight by having sex multiple times an episode with his gf. It's just blatantly obvious and very distracting.
I'm gay myself, which is probably why it's so distracting and I had never heard of him until I googled during the show. Probably shouldn't have done that. It was just odd how much they were pushing the character in so many sex scenes in one episode.
He seems like a fine actor and don't see the need to see the character pushed into this macho sex machine when he is just not masculine. It made me google him because it seemed so off and I can't be the only one to notice.
Hopefully they push past this in future episodes and just let the actors play their characters.
The Clovehitch Killer (2018)
Closure for Whom?
This movie would have been a solid 8, but what was up with the ending?
None of the victims' families got any closure and he's now regarded as a wonderful citizen for eternity?!
Horrible ending, to an otherwise good film.
Life with Murder (2010)
The Father Passed Away
This was an interesting doc.
I gave it 8 stars for the parents and for the daughter they lost.
Nothing to say about Mason.
I googled the father and see he passed away in 2016.
Hope his wife is coping ok.
