Better Call Saul: Bagman (2020)
Each new episode raises the bar.
BCS Season 5 has been nearly perfect in my eyes.
This episode reminded me a lot of "4 days out" which is one of my favorite BrBa episodes.
I loved everything about this episode, the intense gunfight then the fact that Mike is the lone gunman had me grinning so hard!!
The space blanket was brilliantly used and the fact that everything that Jimmy was used to, was shattered in this episode: his cup, his car and his innocence.
9.9 for me!
Better Call Saul: JMM (2020)
Chicken man up in flames!
My favorite part about this show is when all the different plot lines and characters merge and intertwine.
This episode has a lot of merging and I AM HERE FOR IT.
Mike and Saul scenes are the best, I want more.
Mr. Odenkirk's acting was put on FRONT DISPLAY especially in the last scene. He is a master.
Kim makes a stand for herself and it seemed to pay off.
Lalo has Nacho burn down a Los Pollos Hermanos, which Gus lends a hand in. Probably one of my favorite sequences in the entire show.
And now Saul is going to collect 7 million dollars for Lalo. This is going to go smooth as butter I'm SURE.
Great job everyone who works on this show. I LOVE IT.
Better Call Saul: Wexler v. Goodman (2020)
Wexler v Goodman....maybe?
What a content-packed episode!!
The show is so good at keeping me on my toes, I never know what the outcome is going to be.
The montage in the beginning is so good, the mike stuff is so good, the Saul v Kim stuff is so SO good.
This show continues to surprise me, I'm pumped to see the finale of this season.
9.8/10 for me
Better Call Saul: The Guy for This (2020)
Things are Moving at Breakneck Speed!
The opening shot of the ice cream being invaded by ants is one of this shows best cold opens for sure. Saul's life as a lawyer for petty criminals was going so well he decided to get some ice cream, right before being pulled into the not so petty criminal world again.
The camera work and lighting in the car garage meeting with Lalo was SPOOKY and CHILLING. The way they lit Lalo's face so all you could see was a dark face with little beady lights in his pupils reflecting at the camera made him look like some kind of smiling demon ready to possess Saul.
Nacho's Dad Isn't budging, even though he probably should take Nacho's advice on this one. Nacho's story is one of the most unpredictable, because he's so likable and we don't want to see him get killed but things aren't looking too good for him.
HANK AND GOMEY.
Loved being able to see Saul and hank's first interaction! This is the hank from season 1 of BB, he's full of immature jokes, super cocky but still lovable.
Then there is Kim. She had a hard time in this episode but I really love the way Peter and Vince are handling her character this season! I have a suspicion her story will be the most shocking of all by the time this show wraps up!
9.5 / 10
Better Call Saul: Magic Man (2020)
Jimmy's on the decline, While Saul's rising.
A seriously great episode of better call Saul! Honestly one of the best. The montages in this show really are a thing of beauty! Kim is one of the best supporting characters in any show I've watched, she's very good at acting with her face, with no words needed.
If this is any indicator, this will be the best season of better call Saul yet.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Don't let the clickbait headlines ruin this movie for you.
The internet has exposed with clickbait articles trashing this movie some saying this is the 'worst star wars movie', this is just ridiculous.
I went into the theatre and emptied my brain of all the articles and just wanted to experience the end of this saga as JJ has crafted it. I wasn't disappointed!
Very action packed and had a lot of great pay-offs. Palpating was scarier than ever and I love the direction they went with Kyle Ren in this movie.
So yeah just ignore all these Star Wars fans that love to hate anything that isn't in their perfect vision for what a Star Wars movie should be.
