Good movie , but a one time watch

"Slumdog Millionaire" is a romance-drama movie released in 2008. It was directed by Danny Boyle and it starred many actors like Dev Patel, Freida Pinto and Saurabh Shukla , just to name some of them. The movie is set in Mumbai, India in the year 1992.

"Slumdog Millionaire" tells the story of 2 orphan brothers and a girl who are all very poor and live on the streets and wherever they can find shelter. As they grow up they get separated and try to find eachother with the only chance being the famous show that everyone watched " Who Wants to Be a Millionaire". The movie is based on a book from 2005 called "Q & A" wrote by Vikas Swarup. The majority of the plot revolves around the love of one of the brothers for the girl.

I, myself, liked the movie but not to a certain point where to give it 8 Oscars. The movie is quite good and I especially liked how every main character evolved in their own way. The soundtrack for the movie was OK, but the actors were pretty good. This movie can really show you how the country of India is and how some parts of it look like they are from a completely different country, some parts overpopulated and poor and others extremely rich.

I'd say that this is an ideal film for teenagers, the movie plot revolving around love and also having a bit of action included. This movie didn't quite hit the spot for me as I like giving movies a higher rating than others. If you like drama, romance and a bit of action this movie is for you, go give it a shot.
