Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)
A Big Mac
The way I can best describe the experience of this movie, is with hamburgers! Let me explain.
I really liked Thor Ragnarok, which was like a Hamburger made in a great restaurant and which thoroughly I enjoyed eating, and even after eating the burger I felt satisfied. And wasn't hungry for more after.
But with Love and Thunder it was like eating a Big Mac at Macdonald's, I did enjoying eating it but it just wasn't the same as that great burger I ate at that great restaurant, and after I finished the Big Mac I still wasn't really satisfied plus I was still hungry.
And now actually talking about the movie, the thing that botherer me the most was that the seriousness didn't mix great with the sillyness as it did with Ragnarok, the emotional scenes didn't really hit me and the jokes didn't land. It was also kinda chaotic and inconsistent.
Luckily I didn't go into this movie with too much expectations, so I enjoyed it for what it is:
A Big Mac.
Breaking Bad: Say My Name (2012)
not mike :(
After this episode forward it was impossible for me to root for Walter. Mike was my absolute favourite character and he was the one who knew the most from all sides of this world, his last words to walt were the absolute truth and I can never stop loving his character and the amazing Jonathan Banks. And not to forget Walt's opening monologue perfectly executed by the amazing Bryan Cranston.
Quality of the Episode: Solid 10/10
My mental happines after this episode: 1/10
Final Judgement: Solid 1/10.
Breaking Bad: Fly (2010)
I guess we know what he was looking for now! (BCS Spoilers)
He probably hust wanted to accompany Howard and Lalo! R. I. P. Fly who was never understood :(
Although I didn't think of this episode as bad, now I think of it as a masterpiece XD (as will a lot of people after watching Better Call Saul)
Obi-Wan Kenobi: Part VI (2022)
It's fine, just not great
The story that they could have told would have fit in a series, but the story which did did tell could have fitted in a movie. Really barely anyhing happened and almost nothing was at stake since we all know the main characters live.
Reva could have had potential but she just became a predictable "bad guy" turned good 😕.
All the Vader and Kenobi parts were great, not so much for Lei and Kenobi in my opinion. At least he said Hello There to luke 😂.
I am pretty disappointed by the fact that most actors from the older Star Wars movies (like sidious, Anakin and Qui-Gon) got so little screentime. Also the dialogue was pretty cheesy, but we're used to that I guess.
Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
Woke knockoff
This whole sequel trilogy is basically a woke knockoff of the original trilogy with new "DIVERSE" characters even the writers seem to stop caring about along the way.
Kylo Ren seemed to be the only good character in these movies and even he got turned into a Disney prince kissing Rey to save her life or something idr.
I do have to say that the visuals and VFX are all very good but just gets too much at times (like the billion spaceships at the end, like where are they coming from?!). Then you have the music by John Williams which is great. And those are like the only two good points plus the acting is good i guess if it wasn't for the garbage ass script they were given.
Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi (2017)
Using nostalgia in a bad way
My biggest problem with this movie is how illogical the character of Luke is, the man that turned freaking Darth Vader back to the light side thought of killing his padawan when he even sensed the slightest of darkness. Also Rey is someone that's to perfect to be true, she had barely any training and is already stronger than most well trained jedi and even Kylo Ren (in the force awakens). So basically ruined a nostalgic character just too promote a feminine Mary Sue. And also Leia supermanning herself back to the spaceship without dying barskinned in space is just B. S.
Better Call Saul (2015)
Amazing
Watched this right after Breaking Bad and most of the time it really IS on the same level of quality as that show. The writing is phenomenal, the acting is tremendous, the cinematography is even better than Breaking Bad and with this last season it seems that its even getting better. Can't wait to see how it ends!
The Lego Movie (2014)
VERY GOOD LEGO COMMERC... I MEAN MOVIE
This has to be one of my favourite commercials i have ever seen in a cinema, it was a little long though.
Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)
Nice!
A very nice movie and fun to see how Peter is struggling with being Spider-Man and being at school. A little disappointment is that they animated almost everything of the suit, but apart from that I still love the suit. I really think Tom Holland is perfect for this roll.
