Battlestar Galactica: Daybreak: Part 2 (2009)
OK ending for a great series
The last 5 years Battlestar Galactica have been the series i loved to watched the most. When the season 3 finale came i was so amazed. That was the best episode i had ever seen on TV in any TV-series. I loved that ending, and the season (except that part where Ronald Moore glorified suicide bombings in the start of season 3).
There was a long wait for season 4. But finally it came and it was amazed by the first episodes. Not as much as the season 3 finale, but almost. The mid season finale was also very cool: i liked the planet of the apes like ending and cliffhanger.
(now spoilers will be implemented) And now the final episode came and i was amazed and thrilled at first. But then i re-watched it and i did not like it as much. The final episode just is not as good as the rest of the series. I just did not believe in it. I liked the part that the fracking song (all along the watchtower) lead the way to earth and everything. But i would like to know WHY! Why and how is that particular song so important. The ending did not give so many answers as i would like. It is OK that the producers do not give all the answers, but they could have hinted more at what ever they thought the mythology to be.
Also (now comes a big spoiler) i think the part where the decided to destroy the fleet was the most weak thing i have ever witnessed ever. The human race has reached earth and then the admirals son just says to the admiral: "I HAVE A GOOD IDEA, LET US DESTROY ALL THE TECHNOLOGY WE HUMANS HAVE WORKED CENTURIES TO CREATE!". And just like that they destroy all their ships and technology just because of some notion of a cycle. I understand the cycle: all of this have happened before and it will happen again. I understand that, but why do all the people who are not Apollo agree on destroyed all technology, that will safe countless of lives? I really do not get it. I know why they wrote it as such: Ronald Moore wanted galactica to land on ancient earth and be among us today with the Cylons religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam and the humans polytheistic religions of Ancient Greece, Rome, Scandinavia and Babylon. And the Galactica and all technology needs to be destroyed in order to explain why it is not here today, so they let that Anders guy destroy it all.
But they could have done that in a more believable way. If i was Ronald Moore then i would have let the cylons destroy the civilian fleet. Let the Galactica destroy the remaining Cylons. The Galactica is so much destroyed that it as the only ship crash lands on earth, in the Atlantic ocean above the deepest part of the ocean. The human survivors of Galactica use boats to flee Galactica that sinks and is destroyed by the pressure and will rust away over centuries. The human survivors settle where they can land: America, Africa, Asia and Europe. And explains why everything is what it is today. Much better ending.
I should have been a writer on this episode.
World Trade Center (2006)
Very important and excellent film.
I have always admired Oliver Stone. Platoon is still one of my all time favorite movies - EVER! Though i generally dislike Conpiracy theories, i did like Stone's "JFK". Bu because of "JFK", i did fear that Stone would put in conspiracy theories about 9-11 in this film, theories that some Jewish-neo-con-conspiracy that was masterminded to destroy the World Trade Center (WTC), and blame it on the Arabs, so that the weapon-industry could make money. But i was relieved when i finally watched this amazing picture. It is so true a story - with no reel patriotism or conspiracy theories. Just about brave men, knowing what to do in the face of the unthinkable.
This is a VERY important movie to finally bury all these dumb conspiracy theories once and for all. Because Oliver Stone is more or less the king of Conspiracy theories (JFK anyone??). He is a liberal, a Bush-hater and a pacifist. When a man like that, a man VERY open to conspiracy theories, tells you that there weren't no conspiracies 9-11, don't you think, little conspiracy theorist, that it is time to give up??? IT IS!! Conspiracy theorists: face it - you have lost the battle of 9-11. Some conspiracy theories will still not give up after this movie, they claim that Illuminati has paid off Stone to make this movie, whitewashing 9-11 as some uneducated conspiracy theorist-blogger claimed. But haven't it occurred to these conspiracy theorists that Oliver Stone is a multi millionaire already?? He is, after all the films, and DVD-sales of his movies. Once again, the conspiracy theorists have lost. Also that the most excellent movie "United 93" really is a good thing, so that all the conspiracy theorists will have problems posting their lies.
Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State (2005)
Third and worst part of Alex Jones' Science Fiction trilogy
As the headline indicates this is the third and worst part of Alex Jones' very poorly made Science Fiction trilogy. I have seen Ed Wood's movie "Plan 9 from Outer Space", which until now have had the title of "worst Science Fiction movie ever", and I can safely say that the title has been passed on to this movie: "Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State". First of all it tries to sell itself of as a documentary, which it certainly isn't. First of all documentaries are based on facts, the "documentary" is not. This documentary is based on wishful thinking on speculations, which reel documentaries aren't based on. Secondly Alex Jones clearly demonstrates in the film that he absolutely has no scientific or any basic skills in physics or chemistry. In this film he first of all comes of with a wild crackpot theory that President George Bush planned 9/11 to get control of the world, which in it self is unlikely and Alex Jones has absolutely no proof of this. His evidence is based on his own ignorance of basic knowledge (or more likely: his manipulation of certain knowledge for a greater political picture/lie against George Bush). First of all e wrongfully claims that the 19 Muslims could never have done that (that they aren't that way) but here history speaks against Jones; in Christian history there is examples of self-sacrifice for a greater good, and in World War 2 the infamous Kamikaze pilots of Japan killed them selves to kill Americans (because they thought that they would get into heaven, if the killed them selves for the Emperor (now doesn't that sound like something we've heard before)), and then here in modern history we have seen Extreme Islamist blowing them selves up against Russians (in Chechnya), Indians, Americans and Israelis for the defence of Islam (Jihad). When I now have given you these examples, isn't it reasonable to say that the 19 Extreme Islamist indeed could have blown them selves up to harm USA, the only power that stood against Islam? Of course it is likely, if you don't think that is likely, you must lie to yourself, especially when you saw how many Muslims (who for obvious reasons hated USA) where overjoyed with happiness. And now the fun part comes: Alex Jones claims that this theory isn't likely (everybody who can think: Laugh (HAHAHAHA)). I didn't think anybody could be that stupid, but idiocy never seizes to amaze me. But it is actually sad that a man like Alex Jones uses his political films to indoctrinate people with inferior minds to think what he does, by lies and manipulation.
Alex Jones continues this process when he misuses science to "proof" his lies upon lies. Alex Jones claims that the jet-fuel could not melt or crackle the cement or the iron of the construction. If this was true, building-engineers and architects all around the world would tell the world once again Jones manipulates with the weak minds who believe in his films.
To proof all this, Alex Jones uses some calculations of chemistry, which for the most part are inconclusive and he only shows a few (the only ones that with tonnes of lies could have spoken for his wrong theories), and worst of all: he uses data on chemistry, fuel and iron which are wrong or misleading where he should have used data on construction steel he instead (and intended) uses data for iron which are used for melting furnaces (a good advise: have a book on data of materials and a history book at your side, when you watch these political documentaries). And Jones of course doesn't take in to consideration that the WTC is an older building, where wear and tear has taking its toll on the metal and cement. Jones also claims that the fuel could not burn that long nor could heat the metal and cement that much up which is plainly wrong to everyone who has gone to college, and knows about these things. With all the lacks this film has as a documentary (which I clearly have pointed out), you can clearly see this isn't a documentary but a bad and boring Science Fiction. But as a Science Fiction it is much worse than "Plan 9 from Outer Space" it, at least, wasn't boring.
1 out of 10. It is just simply awful.
Albert Einstein once wrote: "The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its boundaries". The idiocy of this film proofs the reality of the quote.
1:1 (2006)
Poorly made
This is, in my opinion, one of the worst Danish movies ever. The whole have we been told a thousand times before; The dumb and intolerant people (the Danes) and the misunderstood Palestinian boy. The Palestinian is of course innocent, though he knows some criminals. The Palestinian falls in love with a Danish girl. All in all very boring, and a VERY used story-concept. The whole plot behind the movie is that we Danes are intolerant, and that the Palestinians are misunderstood - in reel life nothing is that black and white, tolerance works both ways. But it is very boring and poorly made. Don't watch it, except if you vote for SF or Ø.
xXx (2002)
Worst action-flig EVER
I really hate this movie (so if you love it, don't read this comment). I cant even begin, i have so much, so i will say a few things. First of all: Vin Diesel must be the worst actor in history, he is worse than Hayden Christensen and Pamela Aderson. Instead of reading his lines he communicates them in a kind of caveman-fashion... secondly he also grunts the rest of his lines.
Then there is the worst action scene in history of film-making.
Vin Diesel is to escape a castle full of bad guys: Vin Diesel have placed C4-explosives around the castle, then he steals a bike, and rides to the gate, then but 5 bad-guys springs out - Vin Diesel shoot these people with ease, then he rides at full speed at the gate (which must be around 15 meters high), then somehow Vin Diesel manages to jump his motorcycle up in the air, then about 25 bad guys shows up on both sides of the gate, Vin Diesel being the tough guy which he is, jumps back on the seat of his motorcycle, graps around the back of the bike, then pulls out a machine-gun (all this is in a lame slow-motion), then Vin Diesel manages to shoot every single bad guy between the eye in a cool fashion, then he shoots all the badguys on the other site, lands in a cool fashion, and pulls a detonator and uses it to blow up most of the castle....... all this in what in the reel world would have been 15 seconds...... i have never seen a scene in a movie which i have hated more....it speaks for the whole movie. Don't watch it. WORST ACTION-FLIG EVER 1 out of 10.
Submission: Part I (2004)
Also to Denmark guy
This statement and comment is also to the Muslim-man, who claims he is from Denmark. First of all let me tell you all that he is a liar, the right-winged politician he talked about, Pia Kjærgsgård, have NEVER stated anything that was that racist - NEVER. She has NEVER used the word "Perker", which is a very offensive word. I am not trying to defend her (not at all). But I am just trying to fight ignorance and lies from Muslims and Nazis who are trying take down the free society of the West. Here on the internet it is easy to spread lies.
Now to the movie: It is GOOD. It is so good, that everyone in the world should see, just to get a view of how some of these extreme religious people think (not only Islam, but all religions). A shame that Theo Van Gogh had to die because of this documentary. One of the only documentaries that show the TRUTH about Islam: a truth that every single person on the planet should know. I remember when Theo Van Gogh was brutally murdered by an extreme Islamist. The worst things was that Muslims around the world, and also in my home-country of Denmark, Muslims didn't seem to be appalled by the murder; no I would say quite the opposite, some said the murder was justified, others partied and was happy and some even said they were glad he died and that it was his own fault. I couldn't and still can't accept what all those people said. Then I saw the documentary: and it is good, first gave it 8 out of 10. But then I saw what lousy grade it had received - then I decided to give it 10 out 10, just to even out all the votes that aren't correctly used. I am 100 % certain that all those grades of 1 have been placed by Muslims that haven seen the picture - but they never accepts anything that speak against their own believes: very Un-European of them. I will get all my friends to vote 10 out of 10 on this documentary, just so it gets its reel grade - and not a vote which is to be managed by religious dogmatism, that dates back to the middle Ages
911: The Road to Tyranny (2002)
Second part of Alex Jones' awful Science Fiction trilogy.
This Second part of Alex Jones' Science Fiction trilogy is just as boring and miss informative as the previous one. As a Science Fiction film (this film: 911: The Road to Tyranny (2002)), it is boring and no fun. As a documentary it is untrustworthy: because Alex Jones doesn't really have any sources for his wild claims. As a source he as always almost only uses him self. He says he uses old and reel clips from the media. The problem is that you can see that he has manipulated with them: Alex Jones uses clips from one context and clips into another: just as Joseph Goebbels did in Germany during the 30ties, as propaganda-minister. Secondly: every person who are right in the head knows that not all TV-reports are 100% accurate: all the first TV-reports from major events are always based on rumours, which always are exaggerated, and all his so-called "evidence" is based on this. But the so-called facts and all the theories are so laughable that it possible can't be a documentary: it must be Science Fiction (very bad Science Fiction) it is as good as Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer space". As a Science Fiction film it is tedious and boring. As a documentary it is based faked evidence, and can not be trusted. Don't watch it, you won't be learning anything.
Grade: 1 out 10.
It is simply just awful!
Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove (2000)
First part of Alex Jones' Science Fiction trilogy.
Alex Jones is an unknown director, who has made a Science Fiction trilogy which is very poorly made. This film (Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove (2000)) is the first in the trilogy. But as a mentioned earlier: it is very poorly made. Alex Jones thinks that if he categorises his Science Fiction trilogy as being documentaries they will be better, which clearly is not the case. Even if it were a documentary it would be very bad; Alex does not have any proof of any of his accusations, he does never use reliable sources (if any) and his theories are very laughable. In this first film in Alex Jones' Science Fiction trilogy, Alex Jones claims that a secret conspiratorial shadow government is taking over the United States of America. This is an organisation that is infiltrating every party in the world, and is tend on world domination. But the so-called facts and all the theories are so laughable that it possible can't be a documentary: it must be Science Fiction (very bad Science Fiction) it is as good as Ed Wood's "Plan 9 from Outer space". As a Science Fiction film it is boring. As a documentary it is laughable and it is not even documented (which documentaries should be). It is just a pack of wild conspiracy theories slung out by a crazy man. The rate: 1 out of 10. It is just not entertaining or informative it has no value, it can not be used for anything. Do not watch it.
