Tom and Jerry in New York (2021)
Exactly what the cat dragged in
You know, as someone who finds the recent film a guilty pleasure I can safely assure you this show is just about everything what the former was lacking. While the animation isn't much to write home about the visuals, writing, and especially that god tier soundtrack more than compensates for it. Honestly its rather unfortunate how the trailer didn't do any favors at all which I can tell probably turned off a lot of people but if you can ignore the obvious budget restraints and minor faults here and there you'll find to see a faithful yet creative piece of entertainment without all of the studio meddling Warner loves to do all the time. A real shock how much better Tom and Jerry content turns out when you actually have Tom and Jerry as the lead characters instead of live action people you never cared about.
Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? (2019)
Best itertation since 2002
After some recent iterations with questionable quality we have a fairly good cartoon that perfectly balances guest stars with classic one note mysteries.
Looney Tunes Cartoons (2019)
Back to glory
Not matter how many times you reinvent the wheel nothing can beat a classic square one approach!
Transformers: Cyberverse (2018)
A reboot done right!
Let's face the ugly truth A lot of our favorite cartoons haven't been done justice within recent years. The people behind these lackluster revivals often don't respect the original source material which leads to utter disappointment. However against all odds we may finally have a great reimagining on our hands! Transformers Cyberverse offers everything you could want out of a reboot such as quality animation, writing, and character development. Even though glaring flaws are present you can really sense actual effort being put fourth here.
