Left hanging, not even a byline updating what happened next. Could have been so much more. Tony Glass Just as crazy as the car crash at start Season four Ozark.

Like many great historical films, after watching The Favourite I am driven to discover more about a topic I knew little about. As I was with First Man. However the whole movie for me was ruined by the cinematography. Far too many scenes look like the were shot on a super wide angle Gopro. Resulting in footage that look like it had been shot through a cheap fisheye lens. Totally distracting and rather than being immersed in the film I had to keep thinking 'why is this shot is so badly filmed'

Must Watch... If you saw and loved the movie as I did then this is worth the netflix fee alone. Man on and eternal sunshine are the two movies that are rally burned into my memory. Movie making at it's best.

Very reminiscent of the underlying messages in Frankenstein, with the blacksmith being the monster or at least that's how the villagers perceived him. One of the first movies we watched when taking up a Netflix subscription. Certainly worth a couple of hours of any cinema lovers afternoon. We do watch a lot of foreign language films always in the native language with subs. 'Listen to me'... Netflix default setting was dubbed English dialogue, that immediately reminded me why we always watch foreign language films in their native tongue. It adds another layer of depth to the movie. So after 15 minutes switched back to the native language soundtrack, which helped by adding a deeper level of emersion.

So disappointed after laughing myself silly whilst watching his cats' appearances. Had great expectations - Perhaps it picked up? Gave up halfway through

Beautifully written and acted, if you are a Londoner you will recognise all of these characters, if not, just go along for the the ride. You will not be disappointed. One of my favourite TV movies. Classic performances from a stella cast. Enjoy!
