My Time at Portia (2018)
A gem amongst the current Gen...
This game may have its rough patches, but if you can see past the very infrequent glitches, then it is so refreshing to go back to a simple, care free game that wants you to get involved with the community that exits in the game.
I've never found myself ignorant of story missions to help a side quest for a "non-important" character more enjoyable and non-stressful
It's truly a game that wants you to get to know the people of Portia, and bar the few missions that stress on time, you are free to get to know, and maybe love, the people of Portia.
And it's been a while since I've seen a game brace enough to do such a thing...
Escape Room (2017)
So BORING...
Did you want to watch a psychological horror? Then don't watch this.
Did you want to watch a gory horror? The don't watch this.
Did you want to watch a decent film? The don't watch this.
This film has no character likeability, or horror suspense, or even gore to make it memorable, like many other horror films do. It prays on the fact that escape rooms are the current niche and fails heavily. It doesn't even pretend to play on the gore or suspense crutch to be an be good. It's just not a great film.
You'll be thankfull for the fast forward button as nothing happens at any point for you to want to watch.
A combination of lack of 'deaths' till an hour in, nor 'suspense' till an hour in, and no likeable characters, plus some pretty weak acting, make this film in no way enjoyable.
If you wanted gore and weak story, watch Saw.
If you wanted story and weak gore, watch anything but this,
If you wanted a good film, even 'The Grinch', will do more justice.
