Halo 2 (2004)
I'm just re-commenting
I'm just re-commenting my horrible comment I did before. First, Halo 2 is AWESOME. Amazing game play and the graphics were OK. But anyway, I think I've made my point, now: For the following:
Gameplay-10/10 Simply amazing, it was so fun Presentation-9.0/10 All the basics Multiplayer-/10/10 Jaw-dropping multi player, very, very fun Graphics-8.0/10 Graphics aren't that good, the textures are pretty good, the shadowing is all right A.I.-8.8/10 They run, jump, duck, its pretty good, nothing mind-blowing Last Appeal-10/10 You'll want to redo the campaign billions of times, if you've got Xbox Live(TM) Your going to be playing this game until you, well, you'll never get off!
Half-Life 2 (2004)
A little guide
Here is a list of the foes.
Civil Protection-Civil Protection, are the police of City 17. They are pretty easy to kill. They also patrol the outskirts of City 17 looking for resistance members. Unfortunately, that means you.
Combine Soldier-These guys are more powerful than Civil Protection Units and have more Armour, plus they have body enhancements. They can be found where ever the combine needs them and will work in squads to take you down. They also wouldn't hesitate to throw a grenade to.
Overwatch Combine Elite-These dudes are the most deadly of the Overwatch's collection of soldiers. They are more accurate with there weapon and are always armed with Overwatch pulse rifles. They are more powerful than normal combine soldiers and seem to be the only one that fire the pulse rifle's orb. They make the same noises as the normal combine soldier. They appear less often, they are only tasked for the very hard missions, like eliminating you when the standard have constantly failed.
Ground Turret-Seen only in the over watch nexus, ground turrets unlike sentries cannot be moved. They are set to protect things like generators that power security forcefields. They only way to destroy them is to lob a grenade into the inside parts of the turret.
Strider-These hunks of metal Arne't to happy to see ya. They have a powerful arm piercing pulse gun and an instant kill warp cannon. They can only be damaged with explosives. The orb also does effects the strider but dos-en't deliver a lot of damage. Stay away from them as coming up close to them will make them stomp on you.
Hunter Chopper-These dudes are incredibly powerful. They have a pulse gun that is indeed, powerful. They also drop water mines. They are only encountered in the chapters, Route Kanal, Water Hazard, and Black Mesa East. They can be destroyed with the RPG, and other explosives. Also, your air boat mounted pulse gun damages it to.
Gun Ship-These things also have a pulse gun and can only be destroyed with explosives and the orb. It is unknown whether they are piloted. I think that they probably aren't. The front kind of looks like an ant lion Stalker-The result of brutal combine butchering, stalkers are slaves and act as engineers for the combine. The player never gets to go up close to one. They are only encountered on a monitor on nova prospect and they are seen in the citadel being watched by combine soldiers. They are always lumped down as if they are guilty or something.
Scanner-These robots pose a very low threat. They cannot harm you in anyway, but if the spot you, they'll take a picture of you and send for reinforcements. You can stop this though by destroying them.
Dropship-They deploy combine soldiers and CPS. They also have a pulse gun. I'm not sure if they can be destroyed but they can be damaged. They have a top part that is shaped like a crab.
Gordon Freeman-The character that you play as, he was a lucky survivor of the resonance cascade all thanks to his hazard suit. Deeply respected by most people. In Half-Life 1, he is 27 years old. I also read somewhere else that HAlf-Life 2 is 10 years later.
Headcrab-Yes, those annoying creatures from the first Half-Life are back. Their priority is to latch onto your head and turn you into a groaning zombie.
Zombie-These dudes are pretty freaky looking eh? These poor dudes were victims of those annoying head crabs. I like setting them on fire. They like cry. I've been able to make out the following words when they are on fire: "IM ON FIRE!!!" "OH GOD! PLEASE HELP ME!!!" "GOD!!!!" Fast Headcrab-Same as the original only they have long spider-like legs and move much faster. They also make the same noises as the normal head crab. When the spot a suitable host, they stand on their hind legs and then start moving after you.
Fast Zombie-I think these guys are kinda scary. They make a loud scream when they come up close to you. Most of their skin has been removed some of the skeletal system can be seen but they are surprisingly fast. They don't seem to be damaged from falls that would probably kill you. They also have the ability to climb pipes.
Poison Headcrab-These ugly head crabs make the sound of a rattle snake when they spot you and let out a shriek and jump up to you. They bring your health down to 1 but an antidote in your suit heals you back to your previous health. If your health is at like 80 or something, get bit by a head crab when there are no hostiles. Your HEV suit will actually bring your health to 100 or 91! Poison Zombie-A victim of the poison head crab, poison zombies have 4 zombies on them! They are extremely hard to kill. They are very slow though, slower than the standard zombie even, so when there's no head crab left for it to chuck at you, they pose a very low threat.
