This series is have a good premises, but the development kinda dull, luckily the ending is somewhat good IMO Episode 1-3 makes me want to watch more, but from episode 4-8 the development are dull, the politics is bad, the family drama is too much and MC backstory that nobody ask, nobody want to know if the female lead is lesbian or a cheater like her father, in this series that making monster its premises who cares?

Luckily the plot twist in eps 9 and Godzilla battle in eps 10 (eventhough it was only 2 minutes tops) kinda saved the series for me, which makes me want for more, and i think the season 2 is worth to wait.

Just please make the story good, and focus on the monster and monarch as a whole, instead of family drama nobody asks.

The director does not know the material of the film well, by combining 2 timelines that can be separated into 3 films (RE 1,2,3) or make a Raccoon City trilogy, instead they are combined into 1 film which ends in a chaotic and uninteresting bad story, RE fans will be disappointed with the story

The change in character appearance due to the Hollywood diversity which make it worse with not only appearance, they also change all the character personality, which in turn make this movie is a waste of time and waste of money

Sadly the captured atmosphere for the Spencer Mansion and RPD are wasted because the story are rushed and feels so bland, no puzzle solving, no bactracking to try escape the place

The memorable scene of RE 2 where MC meet the Lickers feels like a joke, not even a shred of horror in that scene, G1 rushed skipped to G5, and only a bit of shot, they defeat the last boss

if this is the future of Resident Evil franchise in the Film section, better to skip it altogether if you play the game, not worth a second of your life at all.
