La La Land is simply a magical movie. With their mouth-watering props, make-up, costumes and camera lens, you feel like you're watching a movie that was released in the 1940s, even though the story takes place in the present. I can say that director Chazelle has accomplished the impossible. He did a good job both technically and with an impressive script. It's really impressive that Chazelle is still in her thirties, but has achieved such a result in her second feature film.

The acting was terrific. Ryan Gosling gave a powerful, deep and as always charismatic performance in this movie. He especially showed his character's love for jazz very well. And his chemistry with Emma Stone was great as always. But Emma Stone made it official in this movie and undoubtedly gave the best performance of her career. You can watch the movie just for this couple.
