Maidentrip (2013)
Rigged. Somthing fishy going on here-.
I'm with the guy that says something isn't right . . . . It doesn't add up; and quite frankly, I found the film too effervescent. I think there's something fishy going on, and just meeting people on an island, making friends with a weird couple. Nah. It smells rigged (pun). She's arrogant, and yes, spoiled or something akin to it. I found her annoying. Was glad to see her sailing off into the sunset. Good riddance, Brat!
They Shall Not Grow Old (2018)
Best Documentary Of All Time
"They Shall Not Grow Old", Best Documentary film of all time. #theyshallnotgrowold The wondrous filmmaking of Peter Jackson. The documentary film; stunning in its technical achievement, brings to life the black and white archival footage to vivid color, and 3-D effect gives one the feeling of being a participant in the war (archival footage from the Imperial War Museum). My mouth was agape-tears of emotion sprung to my eyes, so overwhelmed was I with the film! I cannot praise it more. It's overwhelming in its poignancy and substance. The best film I've seen in a long time. Extraordinary technical achievement in every conceivable element of filmmaking. There never has been, nor will there ever be a better war film than this. It's the definitive film about war. Not for the squeamish, or those who want pure entertainment. This is the historians' film. My college thesis was about World War 1, and the Imperial War Museum provided much material for my paper. It is a subject close to my heart, and this documentary is the best resource for first-hand accounts of the war. It will win an Oscar for Jackson, certainly Best Documentary, and Best Director. Likely, Best Adaptation, Best Sound, Best Music, and Best Cinematography. Serious filmmakers take note.
