The first 2-3 seasons were pretty good when they were airing original footage . The producers spend MUCH too much time showing and reshowing and reshowing footage that aired on previous episodes . I'm now on season 4 episode 6 and there has barely been any original footage in all these 6 episodes. I keep fast forwarding hoping for something new .

The cast is great ! It's educational and interesting . The only problem is the producer airing the same footage over and over , ESPECIALLY in this season . I'd like to know if this is how it's going to be in all future seasons . I guess I'll just keep watching and fast forwarding .

First of all , S1E1 he starts resorting a house by doing the Bathroom first , then I think the hallway, then some other rooms . WHEN does he think to check the foundation. ? I'm the LAST EPISODE. He doesn't stay period appropriate , he uses a metal outside home roof for inside the bathroom , I saw some gaps , and the exterior not only has no period appropriate detailing. , but the color is a brilliant blue . Just AWFUL. Do yourself a favor and just go watch Restored with Brett Waterman. This guy has zero clue what he's doing . Who doesn't start out with the foundation first , then walls ? Find a new job buddy. You SUCK.

DON'T waste your time . Most idiotic show I've seen yet . Stupid plot line . Girl gets killed , but she still has her physical body , yet she's a ghost ? Lame lame lame . That's 45 minutes I'll never get back.

Holmes acts like he's the one that fixes Everything, and yet on so many shows , I see mistakes They make. His own employees have installed things wrong , then had to redo. More often than not, he doesn't keep his own designer apprised of what's going on , such as a bulkhead above the fireplace ,, putting a high brick wall ( knee wall ? To who's knee? A giant ? ) in a SUN room ?? All these mistakes were in ONE episode . S1 E11, Tickled Pink . Doesn't instill much confidence if he himself And his employees make This many mistakes .

Still gave it a 6, as the end result is good,,but at a cost of having to repair many of their own mistakes .

The end results are usually pretty good , however often they do incredibly stupid things , like putting the tarp on the roof of a very leaky home , but not over the roof of the garage ( where they're storing all the staging furniture). Or not consulting each other over the budget but making incredibly stupid and sometimes costly things they randomly decide to add .

Obviously hokey lines delivered ; female - " I'm not helping you guys any more ". ( ensues a lame dialogue of "why ? Is she That mad at us ?" Yadda yadda . "I'm pregnant !" Then shows HUGELY pregnant belly . This part was just a lame intro of her pregnancy . But the bad parts are as mentioned , poor decisions on designing , safety, and plans . ( a "BBQ wings colored inspired fireplace "? Which ended up being redone as it was hideous)

Im just not sure if they're really this dumb or if it's for shock factor .

Bald guy seems to be the only intelligent one . UPDATE ; decided to watch the new cast on season 6 . Turns out THEYRE EQUALLY STUPID . This show is just one big sad joke . They Painted an Entire house Two wrong colors ? ( Black and Green! ) WTF ? Is there No one intelligent on this entire show ? I'm done . I give up . This show absolutely Sucks.

And the stories aren't drawing me in either . We were Promised that some of the old cast was returning. , turns out that was only briefly for season one .

They also said they were going to talk about Mal De Embarkment, ( which I have ), but they only briefly mentioned it once in passing . Overall, the new cast pales in comparison to the originals . Poor remake . Won't be watching season 2 or beyond .

Sheesh, Sixth Sense much ? Could they Possibly copy much more ?

The two seasons were very good,,,,right up until the last episode, where it was as if the producers suddenly realized that the show wouldn't be renewed, so they suddenly "fast forwarded" two years and tried to shove every person's ending into five minutes. Ridiculous .

How are you going to let a known criminalaccompany you throughout a murder investigation , without handcuffs? This episode was so predictable and a real let down .
