Lucifer (2016–2021)

Everyone's favorite Devil is returning for one final season!
28 October 2019
As it is one of my guilty pleasures, I was ecstatic when Netflix picked up this show for a 4th season. First and foremost, Lucifer has an extremely underrated cast. Tom Ellis was clearly born for this role and he plays the Devil with total flair. He is a joy to watch! Additionally, the plot development is phenomenal, and the writing is as devilishly humorous as it is dark. I also find the soundtrack is perfectly suited to the show. Simply a very enjoyable show overall. Can't wait to see how the story ends in the final season next spring!

Gotham (2014–2019)

It's not just a Batman origin story - it's one of the best crime shows on TV!
28 October 2019
A show which doesn't get nearly enough credit, Gotham is the best "superhero show" on TV - and it's not even close! It's a series in its own sub-genre: a neo-noir crime drama intertwined with the dark mysteries of a comic-book universe, with some action and dark humor thrown in every now and then.

Gotham portrays the exploits of a young Detective Jim Gordon and a teenaged Bruce Wayne as they navigate the crime-ridden streets of Gotham City. Throughout the series, they encounter the many heroes and villains of the Batman saga, as well as many new faces. It is a show replete with complex relationships, dark humor, thrilling suspense, backstabbing action, and shocking twists.

With a super-talented cast and equally gifted writers, this DC Comics drama takes the Batman Universe to new heights. Special props *pun intended* to the costume & graphics departments for creating a stunning production!

Friends (1994–2004)
10/10
The undisputed greatest show ever made!
4 August 2019
Ever wonder why Netflix pays Warner Bros millions of dollars every year for the streaming rights to Friends? It's cuz even today, 15 years after that fateful finale aired, people still can't get enough of the ridiculous escapades of Chandler, Monica, Ross, Rachel, Joey & Phoebe. For ten years, week in and week out, the writers & actors delivered some of the funniest lines and most iconic scenes ever to grace the silver screen. No show will ever match the comedic genius of Friends, which is why to this day, Friends remains arguably the most beloved sitcom of all time.
