The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
So Boring
Omg, what a waste of time this was. What on earth are people watching to give it such good reviews? My boredom threshold reached it's limit with episode 6 and it was binned. No atmosphere, way too much talking and stupid, predictable comic scares. This is best avoided unless you like daytime soap tv.
Gon-ji-am (2018)
Dire Korean Horror
Terrible Korean horror movie that doesn't have a single scary scene throughout the entire running time. It's just plain stupid from start to finish. Avoid.
Breaking Bad (2008)
Phenomenal
Incredible TV series. The best thing I've ever seen? Absolutely. The cast, the writing and everything from episode 1 to the final epsiode is fabulous. It's tense, heartbreaking and darkly funny in equal measures. Cranston and Paul are as good as it gets. If you haven't see this, forget what you are watching and move this to the top of your viewing list right now. Awesome.
Giri/Haji (2019)
Dire British Drama
I'm not sure how I managed to sit through this. Horrible characters and a storyline that just dragged and dragged. They could have condensed the whole thing into 90mins instead of having long boring scenes that just went on forever and ever. Horrible.
Knives Out (2019)
Dire
I wish I had something good to say about this. A bland script, dull characters, a totally miscast Daniel Craig with an awful Southern accent and you are in for a painful night at the cinema. If you love murder mysteries / whodunnits, you need to avoid this. It can't even decide if it's trying to be fun or serious. In the end it's neither.
Halloween (2018)
Awful
I can only assume John Carpenter lends his name to these movies because he's short of cash. This is possibly the worst of all the Halloween movies. Lacking in just about everything that the original was famous for. It's stupid and it's boring and has not one worthy scene of note. Avoid.
Gi-eok-ui bam (2017)
Stupid and Implausible Thriller
The reviews on IMDB amaze me. Someone was even daft enough to compare this rubbish to Old Boy. Seriously? Forgotten starts off ok, but then at the twist turns into a ridiculously stupid and unintentional comedy. Honestly, you really have to suspend disbelief for the stupid script as it get sillier and sillier.
Korean movies are better than this, really they are. If this is in your favourite movies of the year list, it's time to pick a new hobby. Forgotten is awful.
