The Netflix Afterparty: To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021)
"afterparty" nothing like the movies, full of bad jokes, very little talk from the cast members.
This played automatically after I finished watching the third movie. I wanted to see some more of the actors behind the characters so I let it play.
WOW, this is bad. The jokes are cringe asf. The c-list celebs that are hosting this show are annoying and who even are they? We hardly hear from the cast members themselves. The laughing is staged and fake as the show hosts laugh at each other's jokes.
The cast members are charming as ever, I wish they had their own show where they interviewed each other.
Maybe it's a cultural thing? Is this funny to Americans? Because we just finished watching the same movie here, if the movie is universally enjoyed by the audience, shouldn't the same be true for the "afterparty".
YIKES.
This has a completely different vibe, and does not fit the ending of the movie. I do not recommend you ruin a beautifully ended movie series with this hot garbage.
Bird Box (2018)
Didn't live up to it's potential
It's good in many ways, but the story fails it.
The ending is disappointing and the whole movie could be shorter.
Or you know, add some more to it.
For the ending I'd take more inspiration from the book, and it would make the ending 10 times better.
