Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020)
Brings back Christmas magic
What a year for this BEAUTIFUL film to be released. The music was amazing, the costumes were perfect, the performances were magic. I had all the warm and fuzzies after finishing this film. A must watch for every holiday season to come!
Happiest Season (2020)
All the holiday feels for this all star LGBTQ cast!
Fresh. Relevant. Heartfelt. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. It was so nice to see LGBTQ characters at the center of this story, rather than side characters or fillers. For those who have already come out, and for those who struggle to find a way, we see you. This will be on my holiday must watch list for years to come.
Life in the Doghouse (2018)
Touching and informative
A must see for everyone. Danny and Ron are heroes. Real life examples of how breeding and the puppy mill business contributes the death of 4 millions dogs a year. A call to action. Some scenes were emotionally intense, but in the best ways, because it made their message clear. Spray and neuter your pets and choose adoption over purchasing!
The 10th Kingdom (2000)
I'm wishing on a star...
This is, hands down, my FAVORITE movie of all time. I'm a sucker for magic and happily ever after; and I love every minute of this film. I've watched all seven hours of the DVD countless times. It will never get old. If the run time is what's holding you back, just know that this was shown as a mini-series. So you can watch it in pieces. For me, I'll keep watching this for ages to come. Definitely recommend!
You (2018)
Simultaneously romantic and perverse!
Oddly enough, I found myself wishing I had someone like Joe to take care of the toxic parts of my life for me. I truly believed he did EVERYTHING for her benefit.
Even without those small glimpses into his past where Mooney locked him up and explained that killing bad people wasn't wrong, I still would have sided with Joe.
I was rooting for them to make it work. Beck was such a mess that I expected her to forgive him and live happily ever after with her knight in shining armor.
A bit of a disappointment in the last 10 minutes. But I LOVED it!
