It's really not that good. Tried watching it a couple times and it was hard to stay mentally engaged with it. Maybe it'll improve, most likely not.

Fantomworks had a lot of fake drama, but at least the cars looked awesome. These folks seem to stand around and joke too much. Lots of outsourcing work, it's not Bitchin Rides where most of the fabrication, bodywork, painting are all done in-house. .

Courtney Hansen has been around cars for a long time, and has a history with car show productions. The premise of the show isn't new or unique, pretty much it's a rehash of early automotive TV shows starring Chip Foose. I'll give it another viewing and hopefully the show will gel.

It's not too bad. Of all the car shows on MT Channel, this one is slightly above mid pack. Heather Storm was so much better than Lauren, and sad to see her go. Bogi will be a good addition to the squad since she's an awesome mechanic and garage owner. My wife doesn't watch, unless Bruno shows up on screen.

Watching S1 E10. Hopefully, MT fills this series with infomercials for muffler bearing washers. Actually, Car Shield commercials for 27 minutes straight would be better. I know it takes some time for a show to gel, but 10 in and it's so rough to watch.

What's with the sandwich making in this episode? Plus points for the dog watching the sandwich being made. That earned it another star.

I don't claim to be a restoration expert, but some of the welds look pretty sketchy and not finished well. Plus the shop looks like a disaster area. Pull this show out of the rotation.
