I will have nightmares forever and ever. And even after that. Maybe I'm the only one, but I hope Felonious Bolus never gets out of prison. He is too scary for society to handle! Okay maybe just me, but I think there is someone else afraid of this thing!!!

AaaaAAAAAaaaaAAAaaaaAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Felonious Bolus is appearing in all my dreams now! Thank you PilotRedSun! >:(

Attaway General (2020– )

Laughably bad. Just watch Cr1T1kal tear it apart
27 June 2020
Oh man where to start? The acting is terrible, the writing is nonsense, there's multiple romance subplots, and the characters are shockingly unlikeable. But what do you expect from a show made up of famous TikTok stars?

The first episode starts with an ad for "Just Dance 2020" unfortunately reminding me of the Emoji movie and ITS ad for the Just Dance app, now available for download on Android and iOS!

The premise of this show is four teens who are volunteering at the critically acclaimed Attaway General Hospital. They don't really get along, nor do they know how to properly work in a hospital setting. But they are handed big jobs by various doctors, as is the case in the first episode where Dr. Henry asks for assistance from main character Kit out of nowhere while dealing with an unconscious patient. God knows what he did to help that patient, and whether it did anything at all to help. But he asked a person who'd never worked in the hospital before for help. Logic.....

We've also got a bad boy named Jack who just got out of prison....or was that juvie? Who knows and who cares, but what we know for sure that he's a bad@ss who you don't wanna mess around with! Then there's Georgia who is incredibly hostile and standoffish in the very first episode for no apparent reason. But she immediately falls in love with an alpha-male buff coworker so.....that's nice. Kit also has an apparent romantic subplot with an injured kid named Holden who is also revealed to have a heart condition. Will probably result in him dying at some point in the series so prepare to cry by getting the tissues ready.

In episode 2. there is a BULLY. And somehow, that episode manages to be even more ridiculous and make less sense than the first! Kit also shows a more hostile side as she "treats" a guy with his jaws wired shut. He cannot speak, so she uses this opportunity to make fun of him and his weight, and the fact that he got beat up. Like......wow Kit. Then the BULLY (which is another patient in the ER) sneaks into his room and starts beating him up over an apparent Lacrosse snitching. The episode ends with the kid beating him to death while everyone is watching on. The doctors of Attaway General Hospital insist they could do nothing to save him.

I'm kidding. That doesn't actually happen. But it sure would make this show a whole lot more interesting right?

To sum up: Bad writing and bad acting make this a terrible excuse for a show. But it almost fits right into that so bad it's good category. I think I will tune into the next few episodes just to see what happens next.

The show also is currently going by the nickname "TikTok Hospital" so it's pretty easy to find. I've never seen a show with an overall 1.0 star rating consensus, but I'd say this has well earned it!

Attaway General: David and Goliath (2020)
Season 1, Episode 2

The one with a random twist bully
27 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode has a bully in it! Tensions flare as the romance between that one hot guy and that one standoffish girl is taken to a whole new level, while Jack the hardened criminal gets hostile to another patient (presumably named Goliath) even though he wasn't really being rude. But he had every right to be rude to him because as it turns out HE IS THE BULLY!!! :O

Meanwhile we've got a kid named (Davey or David?) with his jaws wired shut, and Kit mercilessly makes fun of him for being fat and losing the fight while he cannot speak. Kit is such a lovely character ain't she?!

Tensions REALLY flare when Holden is rushed into the ER after he clearly fainted suddenly at the beginning of the episode and no one noticed. While Kit watches on in horror, the bully kid sneaks into Davey/David's room and starts beating him up while threatening to break his jaw again. For all I know he was probably planning to kill him right then and there. This is apparently because Davey/David got him kicked off the lacrosse team.

Watch out future lacrosse players; it's a TOUGH sport with TOUGH people! Ain't no sport for fellow Weenie-hut Juniors!!! >:)

They break up the fight, the bully kid is revealed as the bully. All the volunteers get in trouble, but not....really. Then the episode ends.

Writing and acting doesn't get much better than this. I accidentally gave it 1/10 but I absolutely meant to give it a perfect 10.

Also almost forgot about Holden.....how much u wanna bet he's gonna die? Liek if u cry every time. :'(

One of the first movies I ever cried watching
25 June 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This is actually probably the second movie I ever cried watching, after The Spongebob Movie (2004). I was eight when this movie came out, and I remember crying my eyes out when Otis' dad died. Gawd just thinking about it is making me choke up again. This ain't no animated masterpiece, but boy did it have some heart, and I still remember it to this day.

Be right back I've gotta get some tissues cause I am crying just thinking about Otis and his dad in that one scene :''(

Yet another episode with incredible foreshadowing.....
13 June 2020
To quote Homer Simpson from this episode: "You know, one day, honest citizens are gonna stand up to you crooked cops!"

Chief Wiggum: "They are? Oh, no! Have they set a date?"

Yes Chief Wiggum in fact they have. The date is set for Monday, May 25th 2020. No worries though, he had 27 years to prepare for this current uprising....... ;)

Oh yes and this episode is spectacular. One of few episodes where Ralph really has character development, and it is more than a pleasure to see! Along with several classic quotes and moments, I Love Lisa is a classic Simpsons episode from 1993!

The forgotten presidents song and Bart playing John Wilkes Booth were my favorite scenes from this episode personally.

Saddest Dr. Stone episode in my opinion
26 May 2020
Yet again in truly special anime form, this show has inevitably made a grown man like me cry. Simple words can't express how special and amazing this episode is. It warrants a watch even if you aren't planning to watch this anime (but I STRONGLY recommend you do). This is my favorite episode so far, and it's really hard to pick one from a show with so many wonderful episodes.

But like I said, you may end up in tears. A lot of moving and emotional scenes, plus a really AMAZING song make this a truly spectacular episode. Please watch this one, but do bring tissues of course. <3

Gross and creepy.....
23 May 2020
Yeahhhhh......someone working on this show seems to have a fart fetish and is shows in this particular episode. It's not even remotely funny, just plain gross and creepy as you watch the "Fart fairy" huffing all the kids farts....in their entirety. No I am not joking, this ACTUALLY happens in the episode!

How on earth did this episode get approved?!?! Parents need to watch out for this show, and this particular episode. I'm not one to normally support shielding your kids from suggestive media, but this is an exception. Seriously, DON'T LET YOUR KIDS WATCH! I AM NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY THIS!!!!!

Enter has admitted that this is his one of his least favorite videos, and has since removed it from his channel. And I must commend him for it. Mr. Enter is a guy who knows when he's made a mistake, and acted accordingly. And I will give him credit for that. :)

YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN

YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN YOU'VE GONE AND BUSTED MY GOOD MAN

4+6+VI plus 6>21 THAT RIGHT THERE IS A BUST :(

The reasoning for that there being a "Bust" is because 4+6=10, and "VI" in roman numerals is also 6, so 10+6=16, and plus another 6 equals 22, which is a greater number than 21. And 21 is what you need to have in order to win, and anything greater is considered a "Bust" (which is also defined as "Losing") is exactly what happened here.

Our protagonist lost all his money, so I cried at the end. He should have known the house always wins...... :(

Also, don't let the childs gamble! ;)

PhantomStrider (2014– )

The kindest Youtuber I know
10 May 2020
His content is not perfect, and there are certainly times I don't agree with him. But one thing about PhantomStrider that stands out from most other Youtubers is how much he cares about his audience. I honestly don't know if I've seen another internet personality that looked out and cared for the well-being of their audience as much as Josh Strider. And that is ultimately why I like him. He also frequently responds to his fans, and is generally good about taking criticism.

If you like cartoons or animation of any kind, and you enjoy top 10 lists then PhantomStrider is the channel for you! Some of my favorite videos of his are: "Top 10 worst Family Guy" "Top 10 best Disney" "Top 10 best modern cartoons" and "Top 6 best live-action kids shows"

And if you think Strider is just another WatchMojo clone, I suggest you watch more of both cause this guy is clearly superior in every way! As far as "list" channels go, PhantomStrider is one I really like and think is worth checking out! :)

Fruits Basket: Hello Again (2020)

A decent start to season 2, although I cannot stand Motoko.....
2 May 2020
I can't be the only one who finds Motoko the most irritating character in Fruits Basket. She is extremely selfish and feels like she owns Yuki for some reason. And it doesn't help that she's voiced by Jamie Marchi (whom I cannot stand in real life either) in the dub. But at least she seems to understand what an annoying and controlling person she is, so that's character development which is nice.

It's still a decent episode at heart.

6/10 from me

Excellent Youtube horror series!
1 May 2020
This is the perfect kind of horror for me. What else can I say? These videos are perfectly unsettling, and they are very VERY well made to boot! While there have been plenty of these horrendous "SCARY 3AM CHALLENGES" and "REAL GHOST SIGHTING AT 3AM" videos plaguing Youtube over the past few years, Local 58 stands above them all. In every way, shape, and form.

Local 58 is the epitome of "Quality over Quantity" as there are only 8 videos on this Youtube channel (as of this writing this review). They are all significantly better than the "content farms" that churn out content several times a day. There's some well done 2D animation in one of the videos, old VHS aesthetic in all that perfectly captures the eerie feel of the 1960s/70s, and plenty of small details being analyzed by people as we speak, making the mystery behind this experimental Youtube channel all the more exciting and relevant!

What more can I say? Go check out Local 58 already if you haven't! Well done Kris Straub for making the best horror content I've seen on the site!!! :)

Among the very notorious videos include:

-Real Sleep -Show for Children -Contingency -You are on the fastest available route! -Skywatching -Weather Service

All of which are perfectly eerie and frightening. Here's to hoping for more content in the coming months and years! Please check out Local 58!

Yeah.....this game is not only bad, but rather disturbing. If you want to know more about Hong Kong 97, just watch this video. There are more Youtube videos going into the gritty detail of Hong Kong 97 and it's disturbing images. But do not bother playing the actual game. What you see here is already kinda disturbing.

Great episode nonetheless!

One of my favorite video games of all time
30 April 2020
I am currently 22. I got my first video game console, a GameBoy Advance SP on Christmas day 2004, and obtained this game shortly after in 2005. I didn't even know until years later that this was originally a SNES title, but I played it almost non-stop along with Mario vs. Donkey Kong in my GBA library. I had many more games I frequently played. This was my first console after all and I would take everywhere with me. On one unfortunate day it was inevitably destroyed in a freak accident in 2006 at my daycare. I still remember it quite vividly because I was actually traumatized by it.....

Not to worry about my game cartridges at least, they were spared (I think there were only 2 games with me that day) and I got a newer GBA that could light up brighter than the old one! But I still hate that my old one was destroyed, it still bugs me even after 14 years. :(

Just wanted to share an old memory though. Back to the game the subject this review is of. I remember watching another kid playing it on their GBA while at the same daycare, and the moment I laid eyes on it I WANTED IT BADLY! Yoshi's Island was a hard game for me, and it frequently frustrated me. But boy did I have a TON of fun playing it! I was thoroughly overjoyed every time I came across a secret entrance or a secret hidden block (or CLOUD in this game) as there was a lot to uncover! I also learned how to gain tons and tons of lives and items through the bonus minigames! When I finally made it to the very end a couple years later and watched the credits, the satisfaction I had was so overwhelming that I broke down in tears (followed immediately by frustration when I realized I had no choice but to turn off the game.)

What great memories this game has given me! SNES version is probably a bit better, but I like the sound effects in this one more to be honest. 10/10 game no matter which version!

Also does anyone know about the secret way to defeat the level 3-8 boss? I know I'm not the first to discover it, but that was my greatest achievement as a kid and I went hysterical when I found it. I wanted to show EVERYONE, but I could only show my parents who hardly understood anything that was going on. If you're curious to know how it's done, there are a few videos on Youtube.

That's a real corpse you're seeing when you get game over.....
29 April 2020
Yes, really. It's been confirmed that the body is of a civilian killed during the Bosnian war on June 8, 1992. The developer literally took a picture of his tv screen and used it in the game. I wish I was kidding.....

Also theories suggest that during the opening story the background shows a picture of holocaust victims. I'm not certain of this, but I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case too.

This is a bad game developed in very VERY bad taste. Just watch AVGN's video on this game, or other Youtubers talk about it and its disturbing nature. Don't bother trying to find it or play it though....

The hardest movie I've ever watched
29 April 2020
To say this film is sad and depressing would be an understatement. After just 5 minutes into the movie I was already choking up, and by the end I was crying my eyes out. Like crying REALLY hard. It takes a lot to get me to cry, but this did it for me. Very little "happy" or "entertaining" happens in this movie. What you're getting into is truly one of the saddest (yet beautiful) pieces of art ever made.

War sucks no matter how you look at it. Grave of the Fireflies shows just how awful the true cost of it is. There were many times I just wish I could have jumped into the screen and given them some food. I am not joking.

Watch this at your own risk. It very well deserves to be considered one of the best animated movies of all time. Prepare yourself for something truly moving. And bring like 20 boxes of tissues, you will need them. :'(

One of my favorite Youtubers
26 April 2020
All "fanboying" aside, I really REALLY do enjoy Penguinz0/Cr1t1kal/Charlie. His content mostly consists of his cynical attitude and criticism towards various media. Moist Meter (which has its own IMDB too) is where he reviews movies and tv shows in his own style (also 10/10 content). But his main channel usually is him criticizing any of the real hot GARBAGE the internet has to offer, and boy is there a lot of it. As far as cynical Youtubers go, Charlie is my favorite. He doesn't hate EVERYTHING (I mean moist meter usually is positive) but he'll definitely call out BS as he sees it, quite bluntly I might add! There's just some stuff out there that NEEDS to be called out, and Charlie is just the right guy to do it. He's a great guy and I would honestly like to meet him one day.

A critique of one of the most popular anime of this past season
26 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
My family absolutely LOVED this anime, and I'm more than happy that people are enjoying it. That being said, I have some notable issues with Bofuri:

First I'd like to address the "This is like Sword Art Online but done RIGHT" comments. No, I do not think that is true at ALL. At it's core they have a similar premise about VRMMO's but most everything else about this anime is very different from SAO. While SAO was about the characters being trapped in a game and would die in real life if they died in-game (and after effects of the trauma), this is a lighthearted comedy show where the characters are playing at their own pace with no real-world risk. I get WHY people are comparing the two, but the whole story of both shows are very different.

This show is about Maple, a girl coerced into playing a VRMMORPG by her friend, and as the title suggests she just goes fully into defense. It's an interesting setup, but what ultimately comes of it is a character that virtually cannot be defeated since ya know....she maxed out her defense. The first episodes consist of Maple getting attacked and unharmed by many small creatures and ultimately defeating them since they would tire themselves out. Then as she gains more skill from the creatures she "defeats" she grows to be more and more powerful in-game. This is where my problems begin....

What is my problem you ask? Well to me, it seems our protagonist Maple is what I'd call an OP (Over-powered) Mary Sue type character. And I just did not like that at all. She grows in popularity throughout the series due to her being so OP, and it just continues to irk me because there's just NO WAY I can connect (or enjoy watching) someone who is having everything go so.....perfectly well. She is basically adored by EVERYONE in the game by the end of the show. Heck she is popular within the first three episodes due to her unusual way of becoming OP. I mean, Kirito from SAO was kind of a OP Gary Stu, but at least in that show we knew he had plenty of experience playing the game and learning all of its skills and secrets through hard work during beta-testing. Maple is the exact OPPOSITE of that. She goes in completely unprepared and inexperienced, and comes out pretty much as goddess of the game......

Maybe that was the point??? But it just does NOT work for me at all. Aside from the fact that I didn't like Maple or her development, I didn't really like any of the other characters any better. There's just nothing to them that I could relate to or find remotely interesting about them. They were just.....THERE.

Another pretty minor nitpick is how they would frequently show chat between players in the game, and they would scroll though it SO FAST that I couldn't read any of it without pausing several times! As a matter of fact, my parents spent several minutes trying to pause it just at the right time so they could read the millisecond-screened messages. They couldn't even read every message. I know what you're thinking: Why do you care so much? They don't really matter in the long run, and it's probably that way BECAUSE they didn't expect anyone to read them! Well, I'm the kind of guy that's always looking for the small details in media. I will frequently pause and rewind to make sure I didn't miss anything (perhaps that is partially my OCD to blame for that) so this kind of stuff will frustrate me to a point where I usually just end up rage-quitting. I don't know why they bothered throwing that stuff in there only for it to appear an accumulated total of 25 seconds throughout the whole show. Just.....AAAGGGHHH!!!

Credit where it's due, the animation is very vibrant and colorful and the voice acting is great as always (might recommend the sub over dub this time since there are some line alterations on Funimation's part cause they are apparently more **woke** than ever). But that is not enough to make up for the irritating flaws it has.

I'm still giving it a 6 cause I wouldn't call it a ""bad"" anime. Just an anime I didn't care for in the end. I recommend you see it for yourself and decide whether you like it or not. Considering most of the reviews are positive, this one will likely be (and stay) and outlier. It probably won't even be read by that many people.

Give it a go if you want. You'll probably get more out of Bofuri than I did. And that's great! I really am glad people are enjoying things I don't care for as much.

But Bofuri was ultimately swing-and-a-miss for me

A Great anime!!!........mindful if you don't watch the final episode
19 April 2020
This would have been one of my favorite sci-fi anime of all time. I watched it with the family way back in 2014 and it quickly grew to be one of the most intriguing, eerie, and dare I say disturbing anime I ever saw. The pacing was one of the best in my opinion, with things being revealed at the right time and things getting intense at the right moments. It even referenced some real-life mysteries like the UVB-76 radio station and solar flares. It was perfect; almost as good as Steins;Gate if you ask me!

The final episode though, was one of the most disappointing things I EVER saw. Without going into too much detail, it felt incredibly rushed and concluded everything the series had built up to so haphazardly that to this day, I have yet to see a "finale" nearly as bad as this one. Weak cartoon finales have always been met with "At least it wasn't as disappointing as Robotics;Notes" in my opinion. I could go into more detail why I HATED this final episode, but I'd rather not spoil this otherwise great anime. It took me awhile to remind myself how much I enjoyed the anime up to that point, and how worthy of a watch it still was.....if you don't watch the last episode.

This series is a solid 8/10. Would've given a 9 or 10 if not for that awful finale.....

Good movie, but not as good as Your Name
19 April 2020
I saw this in the theater a few months back, and while I liked most of it, there were a few things I didn't like. The direction the story went was rather disappointing in my opinion, and I was slightly unsatisfied with the ending. But nonetheless it's as beautiful a film as ever and I think if you liked Your Name you will probably like this one too!

Steven Universe Future: The Future (2020)
Season 1, Episode 20
10/10
The end of a fantastic animated series
17 April 2020
The show wraps up by paying homage to its very first episode: Singing a song about ice cream. What seemed like a cringe first episode about a fat kid and his love for a discontinued ice cream became one of the greatest animated series I have EVER seen (in my opinion). It all pays off in this bittersweet finale. Thank you Steven Universe. Thank you Rebecca Sugar. Thank you to everyone else who brought this wonderful show to life. Steven Universe will go down as one of the most iconic shows of the 2010s.

And you know what? I already miss it.....

But that doesn't mean I'm not smiling, because it did indeed HAPPEN and that is the most important thing. :)

One last thing I want to address: The anti-climactic ending. I personally thought this was a fitting finale to the show, contrary to what some other fans think. At its core, Steven Universe has always been a coming-of-age story about Steven himself. That's why the show is titled "Steven Universe". In this very last episode, he says goodbye to everyone and begins the next journey of his life in a new place. What exactly that is we will never know for sure, but we can be quite certain it will involve marriage to Connie at some point!

The show ended on a fitting note in my opinion and I was personally VERY satisfied with it. I'm surprised not many feel the same way but to each their own. :)

Steven Universe is one of few cartoons of this past decade to really move me for one reason or another, and I couldn't be more grateful for its existence. Again to everyone who made this show possible: Thank you.

For anyone wondering what was in the chest in Lion's mane, it was probably Steven's cool pink jacket. So stop complaining about it already!

Travis........ :(
17 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler alert, but I think anyone planning to watch this ought to read anyway cause I think it's very important.

I would recommend for anyone sensitive to graphic stuff, you might want to skip this episode as it actually shows a suicide. Luckily the actual suicide is not shown ON SCREEN but you do see footage of someone who saw it as it happened. It's honestly one of the most shocking scenes I've ever seen in a documentary, and I just want to warn anyone who might be planning to see this episode that it does happen.

Still a very interesting and bizarre episode of an already bizarre documentary.

Rest easy Travis (1994-2017), you were gone way to soon. :(

If you have any plan to watch this in any way, stick to JonTron's video.....
16 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I generally enjoy the average B-movie from the 1980s or 90s just for nostalgia sake, but this one was an exception as I did not laugh once or crack a smile. I did cringe a few times though so.....yeah

The jokes fall flat, the story is ridiculous, there are many plotholes, and worst of all it's just not that enjoyable. Even by campy 90s standards. It's just an all-out cringe fest that begs many more questions than answers. Like why does the antagonist need to marry Bess Armstrong's character? He's got all he needs to find "great grandaddy's treasure" so.....??? It is never explained that I recall.

Want a good 90s kid film? Check out The Sandlot. It was released the same year as this film (1993) and does everything better. The kid characters are more relatable and likeable, the story is simple and fits the movie better, and it honestly has more heart to it. Do watch the Sandlot instead. Also watch JonTron's "The Skateboard Kid" video on Youtube, as it made me laugh way more than the actual movie.
