In simple words, the whole story can be summarized in the one line story they write for the introduction of the film.

You may have to make the story in your mind as expected by the movie maker, because you can not find the reason of some relationships, roots or history The flashbacks are ambiguous, the romance in half of the cases is cliché and if there was not the good play of actors in their roles, no one could give rates more than 1 or 2.

Lack of a good storyline ruined the attempts of the actors to give a fine role playing (although they did their best) and even some good director's or camera group endeavors All in all you can not neglect the nice cinematography, and actings of the cast, especially Ralph Fiens.

Forget all of the cool clumsy movies played by him (except uncut gems); Although I like his movies vibes, but this one was really an artistic one; he carries his odd character like his other movies, but here with the help a fine direction made by Anderson, the result is observably different.

The theme music is really in the service of the story and I can compare it with "Amelie" so, don't be bored of the slow passing beginning part, and wait for the whole punch drunk story going to be told. A story about the power of love and how it can alter a under-estimated character to a raging bull whom can do anything.

I can not conceal my passion from watching this realistic movie I saw just 2 nights ago; and from that time all the story line is passing from my mind background scene by scene. The movie shares with you a long cut of an Iranian family throughout the childhood of the children which is simultaneous to the Iranian revolution and war; and no one could better describe the circumstances of those days to the next generations or people round the world than a girl with its wonderful, childish, and imaginary point of view of a girl called Nafas! Don't hesitate to watch this movie if you are still feeling your inside child.

Like all of "Majid Majidi's" films, the humanities and all of the shades of it are brought to the scene. Spirituality of a guy born and grown up in harsh conditions can show us ourselves like a vivid mirror. Soundtracks of the film are beautiful coats on a well directed movie which one should not miss it

To feel all of softer qualities that are forgotten in the pioneer societies, free from all the differences in races, nationalities, colors and even languages, you should watch it with the whole hopeless, aimless, and wandering members of the society, to reminisce that to be a real human has the only genuine merit.
