I saw the 2007 version a couple of days ago and I really liked it, so maybe I was comparing this movie to the other one the whole time. But other than that I found it boring. I don't know... the acting wasn't bad but there was no chemistry between the main characters. Some of the dialogue didn't make sense and it was exhausting watching Anne explain everything.
The costumes and sets were good enough but I would have liked to see the directors make the most of the book and adapt it in an innovative way but a little less superficial.
