Loved the movie but you made a error in identity!!!!!
8 September 2023
Thank you for recognizing one of the greatest musicians of all times. I believe that you did a wonderful job of chronicling the life of Richard Pinneman, however, one mistake was made that needs to be corrected and the public needs to know the truth. Near the beginning of the movie you showed a young boy playing a piano as little Richard. This is not true. This young man was and is Frank Isaac "Sugar Chile" Robinson, born 12/28/1938, and is still alive. That picture was taken from a 1946 movie that he was in with Van Johnson called "No Leave, No Love". He also recorded several albums between 1949 and 1952. Everyone always thinks that he is Little Richard. I would love to see this BLACK child prodigy get his proper respect.

English Comedy is dry
12 February 2023
I love the American version of this program. However I can find no humor in the English version. Everything appears tight and forced. The characters do not appear as real people, but as puppets just saying their lines. The character of the caveman is unable to understand much of the time. There are too many plots in one episode to keep up with, and the ghosts are stuffy and obnoxious. To me just does not come off as a comedy, more as an attempt at comedy, but not for the American public. But I thank the writer for letting us put the American twist on this concept and making it an American hit.

I WONDER HOW MANY CHILDREN WILL KILL THEMSELVES FOLLOWING THESE IDIOTS.
18 February 2022
Stupid and dangerous. Not funny at all. An invite to a child's death. Any child or young adult seeing the dangerous stunts they pull, such as getting bitten by a snake or getting hit in the head with a hard ball, could very well try this themselves and end up in the hospital or dead. These people should be arrested for promoting violent and dangerous actions rather than being praised for promoting pain, injury and possible death.

Misleading as to the characters
8 February 2022
This was an entertains movie with real life African American individuals. However, there should have been something at the end of the movies declaring that although these were real people, nothing like this ever occurred, giving the real facts of each one portrayed.

Nat Love was an ex slave born 1854, a cowboy, a railroad porter and an author. Died 1921.

Jim Beckworth was an American Frontersman who lived off the land. Born 1798.

Bass Reeves really was the first Black US Marshall, and the character of the Lone Ranger was based on his life. He was born 1838, died 1910.

Mary Fields or Stage Coach Mary was not a beautiful woman as presented in the movie. She was a hard woman that fought like a man. She fought off a pack of wolves while her stagecoach was disabled and stranded overnight. Born 1832 died 1932.

Bill Picket was born in 1870. He was a ranch hand on a very famous ranch and was part of the beginning of the rodeo world. He died in 1932. There is now an all black rodeo group named after him that is active all over the United States.

Cherokee Bill was born 1876. He was an outlaw that was hung in 1896 for murder.

Rufus Buck was the leader of an American Indian/African American outlaw gang. He was hung in 1895.

Trudy (Gertrude) Smith was apparently associated with Rufus Buck, however no verified historical information is known about her.

Cathey Williams (Cuffy in the movie) was the only African American woman who served in the army (passing as a man) during the American Indian Wars. She was a member of the Buffalo soldiers. She was born 1842, died 1893.

There was a lot of African American History that could have been taught with this movie.

Good family ghost show
23 January 2022
This is the perfect comedy for the family. No sex, and no violence. Also no pushing same sex romance. And if you listen closely, there are some subtle moral and compassionate messages. Most of those that don't like this show appear not to notice this. I hope that it continues and expands to a one hour show. Stating that it is not good because it is a remake of a British show is nonsense. Other shows have been spin offs or remakes from other countries and no one complained about them. In fact they are now considered classics. However, I will definitely try to see the British series and compare. Open your eyes folks, we need more comedies such as this to remind us of our basic morals.

NOT ACCORDING TO THE BOOK.
1 January 2020
This was a total disappointment from the book. Alvirah Meehan is a 60 year old woman who spent most of her life working as a cleaning lady, not some 25 year old married to a 60 year old. The book and characters was definitely not the same as the movies and thus a GREAT disappointment. If you can't stick closely to the book, don't make the movie.

Why did they change the book?
1 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was the worst adaptation of a book to film that I have ever seen. The story only slightly reflects the book. Sterling was an angel trying to get into Heaven, not find a love interest. Marissa's father is nowhere to be seen. Second husband and twins were completely ignored, as was the Heavenly Council. And where is the attorney and his wife who had the answer to the problem? In my opinion, if the screen version had followed the book, this could have been another "It's a Wonderful Life". Authors should be ashamed of letting their well written books be turned into romantic dribble.
