Laal Singh Chaddha (2022)
A film must be judged in it's merit and not what political makes you believe
Lal Singh Chaddha isa well made, well shot, well written movie and well acted movie. Especially by Mona Singh and the two children, they both knocked it out of the park.
In someways it is actually better than forest gump.
Only have two critisisim, First, Aamir Khan's Punjabi, which he truly butchered. I understand he wants to make it more accessible for people of India, however, he could have been more authentic with the language.
Second, the Rupa Underwear subplot, oh god they just made it so stupid. I was cringing so hard.
Sardar Udham (2021)
Nuanced movie for a freedom fighter people don't know much about.
Pacing is just perfect. You actually start feeling exhausted watching the aftermath of Jallianwala Bagh massacre scene. It made the point across. If only watching for few extra minutes can makes us feel exhausted. How would have Udham and other people would have felt.
Jallianwala Bagh massacre scene and its aftermath almost felt like a horror movie, Udham who is now in this almost never ending cycle of death and destruction and wants to make everything right, and help everyone but he physically can't.
Vicky Kaushal is GOAT and acting all across was very good and authentic to it's time. Thank god, they choose good English actors. Amol Prashar was great as Bhagat Singh, who actually looks like some one in his early 20s and not a grown man who looks atleast 40.
Cinematography and Background score was top notch. Set design was amazing. Overall technically movie was 10/10.
When they even showed children getting shot, in the most horrific yet realistic way. That's shows the guts of the producers. Thank you Mr. Lehri.
Last but definitely not the least. Shoojit Sircar, you are a genius and the empathy you showed in the movie, really shows you character in real life. I can say that, I respect you as person as well. You are one of the greatest directors from India.

IGNORE FAKE REVIEWS. They are trolls and IT Bots.
Show is great. Deep. Moving.
Brave. Important.
People are saying, it's a propoganda movie.
I saw the whole series. I didn't find a single instance of that.
It was great.
Kudos to Deepa Mehta and Netflix.
