IFTA nominated, autistic actress Jordanne Jones plays a young woman on the autism spectrum who struggles with the world around her until the kindness of one person helps restore her self-confidence and changes her life. Mildly Different is a narrative short film made by, starring, and about autistic individuals to promote acceptance and understanding of atypical presentation of autism, usually found in autistic females.
Mildly Different features original music from award-winning composer Natasa Paulberg and licensed music from Irish chart-topping artist, Orla Gartland.
The film was primarily funded through community contributions and is also supported by the Arts Council Irelands Disability Connect Scheme, managed by Arts & Disability Ireland.
