A-Town
On his first day riding solo, rookie Almaden Police Officer Derek Cooper (Carl Schreiber) copes with depression, micromanagement, and corrupt city politics. His shift is somewhat brightened by Stephanie Davis, a struggling single mother. As two opportunist criminals launch a violent takeover of Almaden's small methamphetamine trade, Derek learns that when fighting monsters, it is difficult not to become a monster oneself. As the sun sets on Almaden, we find that nothing in the peaceful suburb, including Derek himself, is quite what it seems.
