Set Apart: The Jim Abbott Story - Official Trailer | Fox Sports Films | 2018
Twenty-five years after throwing a no-hitter at Yankee Stadium, Jim Abbott remains one of the most compelling and inspirational figures in sports.
Born without a right hand, Abbott defied the odds as he became a star pitcher for the Michigan Wolverines and U.S. Olympic team. He then pitched 10 MLB seasons with the Angels, Yankees, White Sox and Brewers. The highlight was his no-hitter with the Yankees on Sept. 4, 1993, against the Cleveland Indians, who had a lineup that included Kenny Lofton, Manny Ramirez, Jim Thome and Albert Belle.
