THE VAMPIRE DIARIES SEASON 8 RATINGS

The sirens and Cade were very pointless and non-threatening villains. Bonnie was criminally used this season and everything about her was at least disappointing. I was bored watching Bonnie and Enzo's romance. Damon was for the most part completely "lost" and in some episodes his presence wasn't even needed. Matt continues to be very annoying and irritating to watch. The addition of Matt's father to the show didn't offer anything new. The storyline and the writing were worse than ever!!!!! However, there were some awesome surprises and twists, Stefan and Caroline were amazingly portrayed and the action and emotional scenes were excellent. The best thing of this season though is the really outstanding season finale with the hyped return of Nina Dobrev and one of the most epic endings of TV!!!!!!! Overall rating: 8.3/10
