1. Magic Mike XXL (2015)

R | 115 min | Comedy, Drama, Music

61 Metascore

Three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, he and the remaining Kings of Tampa hit the road to Myrtle Beach to put on one last blow-out performance.

Director: Gregory Jacobs | Stars: Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer, Adam Rodriguez

Votes: 61,330 | Gross: $66.01M

When I saw the first Magic Mike on opening night, it was the first time I ever experienced watching a film in a sold-out theater filled completely with women. After repeatedly watching the trailer, I'm ready for another girls night out to see the boys on the big screen. While I will miss Matthew and his chaps, it's nice to see Elizabeth Banks, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Amber Heard have been added to the cast. At the very least, it will be entertaining.

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 1st.

2. Minions (2015)

PG | 91 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

56 Metascore

Minions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob are recruited by Scarlet Overkill, a supervillain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.

Directors: Kyle Balda, Pierre Coffin | Stars: Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Pierre Coffin

Votes: 259,585 | Gross: $336.05M

My favorite "adorable little freaks" finally get their own movie! I totally wish cuties Stuart, Kevin, and Bob could roll through life as my own tiny, bespectacled entourage. Also love that Sandra Bullock will be voicing super-villain Scarlet Overkill. And speaking of vocal talent, did you know that director Pierre Coffin voices all 899 minions in this film?! Cra-mazing! - Chako

Release Info: Opens in theaters on June 10th.

3. Do I Sound Gay? (2014)

Unrated | 77 min | Documentary

65 Metascore

A documentary about the stereotype of the gay voice.

Director: David Thorpe | Stars: David Thorpe, George Takei, Tim Gunn, David Sedaris

Votes: 2,051 | Gross: $0.06M

Finally, there's a documentary for those of us who were sent to speech classes in elementary school in an attempt to get rid of our lisps. As Buddy Cole said: "Such a lot of fuss over a few extra Ss." - Arno

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 10th.

4. Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp (2015)

TV-MA | 30 min | Comedy

Follows the counselors and campers on their first day at Camp Firewood in the summer of 1981.

Stars: Marguerite Moreau, Zak Orth, Paul Rudd, Michael Showalter

Votes: 25,202

Welcome to Camp Firewood! If the genius betamax trailer doesn't do it for you, the return of the original cast (Bradley Cooper, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Christopher Meloni, Janeane Garofolo... ) definitely will. The series prequel to the cult classic summer movie is going to be a whole lot of absurd '80s fun in the sun! It's dropping on July 31, so in the meantime, go fondle your sweaters, er, fondue the cheddar. - Chako

5. Tut (2015)

Not Rated | 127 min | Biography, Drama, History

A largely fictional mini-series based on a legendary teenage Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt.

Stars: Ben Kingsley, Avan Jogia, Sibylla Deen, Alexander Siddig

Votes: 8,852

Spike brings a three-night miniseries that is sure to be filled with blood, sex, graphic violence, and lots of yelling men. This looks like it'll be on par with Spartacus on Starz, which was a guilty pleasure of mine. Ben Kingsley certainly amps up the drama for his role in this epic tale. - Chako

6. Irrational Man (2015)

R | 95 min | Comedy, Crime, Drama

53 Metascore

A tormented philosophy professor finds a will to live when he commits an existential act.

Director: Woody Allen | Stars: Joaquin Phoenix, Emma Stone, Parker Posey, Joe Stapleton

Votes: 67,045 | Gross: $4.03M

In the mood for a darkly comedic existential romp? Woody Allen's thinky 45th film "Irrational Man" just might be the answer. The campus comedy is Emma Stone's second collaboration with Allen (apparently his new muse), and Joaquin Phoenix and Parker Posey's first. - Chako

7. Trainwreck (2015)

R | 125 min | Comedy, Drama, Romance

75 Metascore

Having thought that monogamy was never possible, a commitment-phobic career woman may have to face her fears when she meets a good guy.

Director: Judd Apatow | Stars: Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Colin Quinn

Votes: 142,735 | Gross: $110.21M

If you're cracking up during the trailer, it could mean that the movie's going to be hilarious or that all the funny parts were just spoiled. Let's hope it's not the latter! Either way, I've got a big ol' girl crush on Amy Schumer and am looking forward to seeing basketball superstar LeBron James' take on the big screen! - Chako

8. Ray Donovan (2013–2020)

TV-MA | 60 min | Crime, Drama

Ray Donovan, a professional "fixer" for the rich and famous in Los Angeles, can make anyone's problems disappear except those created by his own family.

Stars: Liev Schreiber, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Pooch Hall

Votes: 93,518

Last season of "Ray Donovan" was so creepy and suspenseful, I have been waiting very impatiently for my favorite show to return. I was a bit nervous to learn showrunner Ann Biderman was stepping down from her role, but with the new star-studded lineup, including regulars Ian McShane, Katie Holmes, and Aaron Staton I'm hoping things can only get better. - Michelle

Premieres: 10pm Sunday, June 12 on Showtime.

9. Unexpected (2015)

R | 90 min | Comedy, Drama

65 Metascore

An inner-city high school teacher discovers she is pregnant at the same time as one of her most promising students and the two develop an unlikely friendship while struggling to navigate their unexpected pregnancies.

Director: Kris Rey | Stars: Cobie Smulders, Anders Holm, Gail Bean, Elizabeth McGovern

Votes: 3,241

I've been wondering if this festival hit will be anywhere near as good as Obvious Child, which was truly groundbreaking. Gail Bean seems like she puts in a breakout performance, and I hear Cobie Smulders is great here, though I really disliked everything about her recent movie, Results. Also keeping an eye on writer/director Kris Swanberg, the wife of filmmaker Joe Swanberg.

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 24th.

10. Ant-Man (2015)

PG-13 | 117 min | Action, Comedy, Sci-Fi

64 Metascore

Armed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world.

Director: Peyton Reed | Stars: Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly

Votes: 721,902 | Gross: $180.20M

Paul Rudd is the secret weapon to my heart. Knowing that I'm a big fan of Rudd may not be the most trustworthy endorsement of the movie, but comic book fans should not miss the comedic actor's first shot at a superhero role. We're so happy Rudd's going to be bringing his signature laid-back, sardonic sense of humor to the Marvel universe. Take that, Iron Man! - Chako

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 16th.

11. Vacation (I) (2015)

R | 99 min | Adventure, Comedy

34 Metascore

Rusty Griswold takes his own family on a road trip to "Walley World" in order to spice things up with his wife and reconnect with his sons.

Directors: John Francis Daley, Jonathan Goldstein | Stars: Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Skyler Gisondo, Steele Stebbins

Votes: 121,629 | Gross: $58.88M

I was ready to skip past this generation of the Griswold family altogether until I watched this trailer and found myself hanging on every caustic remark from Steele Stebbins, who plays the youngest Griswold child. I'm also rooting for O.G. freak & geek John Francis Daley to make the nearly unprecedented transition from child star to successful comedy director without a blemish on his criminal record. - Arno

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 29th.

12. A Lego Brickumentary (2014)

G | 93 min | Documentary

51 Metascore

A look at the global culture and appeal of the LEGO building-block toys.

Directors: Kief Davidson, Daniel Junge | Stars: Jason Bateman, Jamie Berard, Bryan Bonahoom, Corey Burton

Votes: 2,223 | Gross: $0.10M

From Grey Gardens to Scrabylon, I like documentaries about obsessive personalities, so I'm hoping to meet eccentric LEGO-builders in this documentary — and I really want to know about the person who built their very own LEGO home. - Arno

Release Info: Opens in theaters on July 31st.
