Big Break in 1950s. (Other Than The Usual Suspects)

Other than the big four (Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, and James Dean), which one of these stars who got their big breaks in the 1950s? As in “Big Breaks”, I mean they got their first starring role in a Television series or lead to 3rd lead role in a Major Motion Picture (aka: their names are in large print above the title or before the “Also Starring/With” part on the posters or film credits). Which one is your favorite? Look, I, the author of this poll is not denying that the big four were not Hollywood icons of the fifties. They are. But they were not the only stars to come out of the fifties. Many of the stars on this list had minor role work in the 1940’s, and many were known for their work in 1960s, but their big starring breakthrough came in the 1950s. The thing is that with pop artwork glorying the 1950s, I am getting tired of seeing the artists using the same four people and sometimes using Humphrey Bogart too, who had came out of the 1930s and 1940s and did very outstanding work in the 1950s too. (And Monroe did supporting role work through the 1940s.) Please used someone else. The 50s were more than just these guys!!!!
