Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Elliot Villar, Christian Slater, Young M.A

Votes: 34,248

10/10 - Not only the best episode of the show but one of the best in television history, probably top 3. Absolutely adore the style and the twist is some of the hardest TV I’ve had to watch. Absolutely beautiful. My only possible gripe is that I don’t like what they did with Vera but that’s just me.

2. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.5_kill-pr0cess.inc (2017)

TV-MA | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot faces off with Mr. Robot; Dom gets tired of the red tape; Tyrell has a new plan.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 11,744

9.9/10 - Somehow keeps the momentum going from last episode and climaxes amazingly. Remember S2EP10’s awesome and incredibly tense ending? Imagine that for a whole episode, brilliant. However like last ep, once again losses a point for contrivances.

3. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.4_runtime-err0r.r00 (2017)

TV-MA | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot tries to piece everything together and stop Stage 2 as chaos quickly unfolds at E Corp; Angela tries to do a job intended for Elliot while avoiding imminent threats; Darlene brings Elliot up to speed and tells him the truth.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 13,475

9.9/10 - Long take. That’s it. Peak TV. Not a perfect 10 due to contrivances.

4. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.6_fredrick+tanya.chk (2017)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Mr. Robot wants answers; the FBI closes in; Angela hits the rewind button.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 7,102

9.8/10 - It’s still going after 2 of the best episodes and makes for the best run of episodes in the show, and one of the best 3 episodes back to back in TV history. Maybe the darkest episode of the show, with huge reveals, horrible twists (in a good way) and paying off the 2 post credit scenes. Oh also Leon and one of the best WhiteRose/Price scenes. Last 2 episodes are slightly better, and I think the direction they took Angela doesn’t fully work, but another peak TV episode.

5. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps1.7_wh1ter0se.m4v (2015)

TV-14 | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Director: Christoph Schrewe | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 14,736

9.7/10 - In a way the climax of the season with all the storylines at their most exciting and coming together wonderfully, plus having the shattering twist finally revealed. Definitely the best S1 episode. Bonus points for introducing White Rose epically.

6. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 406 Not Acceptable (2019)

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer, BD Wong

Votes: 8,295

9.6/10 - One of the darkest episodes in the show that really Re-examines how far Elliot has gone and is willing to go, plus beautifully setting up the next episode with some amazing dialogue and acting from the Vera scenes.

7. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: Hello, Elliot (2019)

TV-MA | 51 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Enough is enough. Elliot goes to the Washington Township Power Plant.

9.5/10 - Best episode of S2. Incredible crescendo and pay off to multiple storylines in one of the best episode endings of the series.

Episode: whoami (2019)

TV-MA | 44 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot has to face the challenges of his past, and become accustomed to his new found family.

Director: Tricia Brock | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 12,256

9.5/10 - Strong continuation of the last scene wonderfully exploring Elliot’s character and with some impactful plot development in the background. I love how it doubles the twist but at the same time the beginning portion of the episode isn’t totally necessary in the grand scheme of things.

13. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Mr. Robot and Darlene attempt to take down the Deus group as Elliot remains unstable; Price faces off with Whiterose; Whiterose tries to manipulate Elliot; Mr. Robot struggles to figure out how to help Elliot find himself.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Michael Cristofer, BD Wong

Votes: 14,697

9.4/10 - One of the best pay off episodes and one of my favorites but unfortunately the plot here is really forced which stops me from giving it a way higher score. Should be one of the best but unfortunately it remains here. Some of the best music on the show here.

14. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 404 Not Found (2019)

TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Tyrell, Elliot, and Mr. Robot go on a perilous journey through the woods; Darlene deals with her feelings when she has to take a drunk Santa home; Dom is aroused and has a nightmare.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallström, Grace Gummer

Votes: 8,630

9.3+/10 - Not that big plot wise, but very impactful and beautifully executed episode. I originally gave it a 9.5, but while I understand it, I am disappointed by what they did to Tyrell.

15. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps1.9_zer0-day.avi (2015)

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 10,765

9.4/10 - Love this episode but it’s kinda weird for a finale and has a few things that are never payed off. Regardless amazing ep and season finale. I go between this episode and the last one on which I end up giving 10 stars because they’re both very close to me, but I ended up giving it to the last episode because I’m harsher with finales.

16. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps1.5_br4ve-trave1er.asf (2015)

Director: Deborah Chow | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 12,537

9.4/10 - Chilling ending, just perfectly executed with the music and cinematography. The entire episode is the best yet, very exciting and engaging, but unfortunately let down by some logical issues which stop me from giving it a 9.5+/10.

17. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: shutdown -r (2017)

TV-MA | 57 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot tries to save Darlene, but things don't go as planned; Mr Robot must decide whether to step up or step back.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 9,743

9.4/10 - The execution of this episode is incredible, it’s so incredibly tense, so many great reveals, and set up, it’s an incredible episode but it due to last episode’s issues that this episode loses some points.

18. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 13,138

9.3/10 - One of the best second episodes to a series. It just feels like a much tighter pilot without having to bother with the set up. Continuous the plot amazingly, and fixes the dialogue issue from the first episode already.

20. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.5_h4ndshake.sme (2016)

TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Mr. Robot and Elliot try to keep the peace. Fsociety releases a video honoring Uncle Sam. Darlene acts upon an old desire.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 9,081

9.3/10 - Season continues to be slower but with great development and engrossing scenes. Twist at the end is great but honestly in the grand scheme of things does this even matter than much? On rewatch I didn’t care for it as much.

21. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 408 Request Timeout (2019)

TV-MA | 44 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Janice tries to get Elliot's location from Dom and Darlene. Elliot goes to the Queens Museum.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallström, Grace Gummer

Votes: 9,087

9.2/10 - Very strong aftermath episode, very tense, strong arc for Elliot, and some crazy developments on the Darlene/Dom side. However, brought down because I think that plot was resolved too cleanly, and it isn’t as big as the last 2 eps.

22. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.4_m4ster-s1ave.aes (2016)

TV-MA | 50 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Mr. Robot has an original way to show Elliot that he can be useful. Darlene and Angela take a shot at their plan.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Christian Slater, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday

Votes: 8,762

9+/10 - Very unique episode with the sitcom beginning. Did what WandaVision tried to do better in 15m than that entire shitshow. And then the Angela side of the plot is so tense and well done. Just an awesome ep.

23. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps1.0_hellofriend.mov (2015)

TV-14 | 62 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

A notorious hacker takes an interest in cyber security engineer and vigilante styled computer hacker Elliot, while an evil corporation is hacked.

Director: Niels Arden Oplev | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 18,755

9/10 - Definitely one of the best pilots, sets up so much so well and is even cooler on rewatch seeing all the foreshadowing. A small weakness is the dialogue feels a lot more on the nose and cliched than the rest of the show.

24. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.7_dont-delete-me.ko (2017)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 8,640

9/10 - Beautiful episode but not one of my favs tbh. I appreciate this ep more than I like it tbh. It just feels a little too cutesy, and doesn’t have any real plot development. Good for the characters.

25. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.2_legacy.so (2017)

TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

The former interim CTO of E Corp returns.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 6,641

8.7+/10 - I love Tyrell so it’s awesome to get his perspective of events and it fills in the blank of many events with great recontextualizations and some reveals. However I do think more could’ve been done with this ep in terms of Tyrell’s character and it doesn’t move the plot forward.

26. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.6_succ3ss0r.p12 (2016)

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 6,735

8.7+/10 - Cool episode focusing on the side characters with past mistakes coming back to haunt them and high stakes. Very engaging, and with some big developments only slightly brought down by no Elliot.

27. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.3_logic-b0mb.hc (2016)

TV-MA | 51 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot can't quit the game; Dom and the FBI head to China to investigate 5/9; Joanna is haunted; and Darlene calls on Angela for help.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 7,525

8.7/10 - Much stronger example of a good slow episode compared to the first episodes of the season. There’s just more direction to the plot, and some very compelling scenes like Don and Whiterose. The killer ending is really what brought this level up though.

28. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.7_init_5.fve (2016)

TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Angela wants more from Evil Corp; Dark Army's allegiance is in question; Elliot and Darlene seek answers.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 6,531

8.5+/10 - Awesome to have Elliot back in the plot, and interesting to see him so unbalanced with Mr. Robot keeping even more secrets. Lots of great development and set up for the future, in particular with the Dark Army’s increasing involvement and the incredible scenes between WhiteRose and Price are always a delight.

34. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.2_init_1.asec (2016)

TV-MA | 65 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot vows to beat Mr. Robot, Angela gets a glimpse behind the curtain at E Corp and fsociety stirs up trouble.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 7,332

8.3+/10 - Very good arc and development for Elliot/Mr. Robot, but these first 4 episodes did not need to be this long and are easily the weakest/slowest run of episodes in the series. It sets everything up for a much better and exciting rest of the season, but these episodes are the main reason S2 is the weakest (though only slightly) of the 4 seasons.

35. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps1.3_da3m0ns.mp4 (2015)

TV-14 | 46 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Director: Nisha Ganatra | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström

Votes: 11,868

8.3/10 - Least favorite on first watch and still the weakest of S1, but much better on rewatch. Once you know the context it holds more impact. Wild how one of the scenes were in the finale.

36. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.0_unm4sk-pt2.tc (2016)

TV-MA | 42 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Five/nine has changed the world and Elliot is in seclusion. Angela finds happiness at Evil Corp, fsociety delivers a malicious payload.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 7,957

8+/10 - Better than the first part, but while I think those people are dumb, it’s kinda understandable why so many people stopped watching here. #JusticeForGideon

37. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 405 Method Not Allowed (2019)

TV-MA | 49 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Dom has an unpleasant Christmas. Darlene and Elliot perform a daring infiltration. Krista prepares for a date.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Michael Cristofer, Grace Gummer

Votes: 15,183

7.9/10 - Love this episode due to the awesome style and cinematography, but unfortunately it doesn’t fully work because it’s so unrealistically executed. Honestly this score is generous but I just really can’t help but love this episode, and it’s one of the most tense. Weakest of S4 and a disappointment for what should’ve been a 9.5+/10 episode.

38. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.0_unm4sk-pt1.tc (2016)

TV-MA | 41 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Portia Doubleday, Carly Chaikin, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 8,526

7.5/10 - Just the least interesting episode of the show. Cool knowing the twist on rewatch though.

39. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps2.9_pyth0n-pt2.p7z (2016)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Angela makes an unexpected acquaintance; Darlene realizes she's in deep; and an old friend reveals all to Elliot.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 7,349

9.4/10 - On rewatch my favorite season finale, although they’re all extremely close. Some great pay off, and Elliot losing his mind at the end is one of my favorite parts of the show, but I also don’t feel this pay off fully justifies all the set up, and the way it ends is kinda pointless.

40. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.8_stage3.torrent (2017)

TV-MA | 48 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot trolls a former ally; Mr Robot leaves cryptic text; Tyrell gets new commands.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 5,923

8.5+/10 - Unlike the last episode this is almost pure plot development, and it’s incredibly well executed especially through the editing. It keeps moving, expanding, and setting things up amazingly. I almost gave this a 9/10 but this episode has the biggest logical jump in the show yet.

41. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 401 Unauthorized (2019)

TV-MA | 60 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

During the Christmas season, Elliot and Mr. Robot make their return; Darlene deals with real trouble; Tyrell is bored; Dom becomes paranoid.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

Votes: 9,523

9+/10 - Surprisingly self contained premiere that instantly shows the new style, with arguably the best cinematography ever put on TV. It’s bold, exciting, intense, and has a crazy twist at the end, although it’s kinda obvious and I felt the Season 3 premiere was better.

42. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 402 Payment Required (2019)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot and Darlene reconnect; Price gives Elliot some background info and plays his hand; Dom completes the interview, but her lack of confidence raises suspicion with Janice; Some unexpected threats become known to Elliot and Mr. Robot.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Michael Cristofer, Grace Gummer

Votes: 7,627

8.7+/10 - Strong episode coming off of the premiere, further building up the plot, bringing stuff from the past back, with some strong character stuff, and some crazy reveals at the end!

43. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 403 Forbidden (2019)

TV-MA | 47 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Elliot's newest hack helps him share his emotions; Whiterose puts the pieces in motion; Elliot and Darlene have a disagreement; Vera plans his next move; In flashbacks, some key moments in Whiterose's life are revealed.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Martin Wallström, BD Wong

Votes: 7,633

8.5+/10 - We finally see Whiterose’s backstory and… it’s good, but idk I expected a bit more. Some strong set up for the season, but apart from the beginning, not that special.

44. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: 410 Gone (2019)

TV-MA | 45 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Darlene and Dom hit the road. Elliot is not done yet.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Grace Gummer, Christian Slater

Votes: 8,761

8.3/10 - Slower episode, least favorite of the season, but still solid aftermath episode, with a unique Romcom twist.

45. Mr. Robot (2015–2019)
Episode: eps3.3_m3tadata.par2 (2017)

TV-MA | 46 min | Crime, Drama, Thriller

Dom has a close call; Elliot chases himself with Darlene on the lookout.

Director: Sam Esmail | Stars: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Michael Cristofer

8.5+/10 - Very strong set up ep, although probably the weakest of the season. I love all the scenes with Mr. Robot, Angela and Tyrell.
