I think "Yes, Madam! (1985)" was one of the first movies I watched that featured her, and I was totally inspired (again ... there was another movie that she starred in right before this movie, but I do not remember the title). In days when women were second-class citizens and portrayed as a damsel in distress all the time, Michelle Yeoh was always the protagonist and strong character that made my day. She's my hero.

I think of cerebral characters when it comes to Lucy Liu.

Jean Yoon caught my eye sometime in the 80s when she played a very small role - some type of clerk at either a shop or an inn. She is a steady, real actress who can play any role.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee makes me feel like I have an Opba.

TV fathers: there are Jerry Orbach (Law & Order), Richard Webber (Uncle Phil in the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), and Ricky Ricardo (maybe more of a husband/artist figure, but still.). For Asian performers, we have Dana Lee. On the other hand, he can play one heck of mean characters, too.

Grace Park is an "American actress," not a "Korean-American actress" or "Asian-Actress." That's what I like about her. She is an actress; no adjective is needed.

Oh, yes, Amy Hill. The tower that I always look up to.

I thought she was Korean/Hawai'ian when I first saw her. Boy, was I wrong. I think she had so much potential to take on a role with more depth, but her beauty got in her way. Regardless, I loved every action-filled cold-heart roles she portrayed so well. She took what she had to drawn in the viewers.

I was quite sure that the first movie of her as a protagonist was "View" or "Window." But I am having a Mandela Effect-moment. Can someone help?

I first saw him performing at EWP in the late 90s or early 2000. He left me with an un-revokable, lasting impression. I bet my thumbs to my friends that we would see him in Hollywood. Guess where my thumbs are still at.

I was always a fan of him. So, let me talk about his recent appearance in a car commercial. First of all, his son looks just like him. Second, I was blown away when Danial Dae Kim showed his fatherly smile in that advert. That smile in 1 second showed so many emotions — pride in his child, an adult-like reaction to the child's arrogance, holding back what he wanted to say, and many more. Perhaps that's precisely how he felt at that moment. He probably used that emotion to portray that moment. Either way, he is quite an actor.

I remember him talking Korean in one of his shows, which was supposed to be Japanese for his Japanese character. I felt his pain and got angry at the discrimination and laziness of the production team he must have dealt with. That's how I noticed him, and now I am more impressed by his achievements and his professional ability as an actor.

I knew him when he was not a comedian. I was surprised to find him on the silver screen one day..., buck naked. Argh, Dr. Jeong.

Once upon a time, there were Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Jet Li. Well, there still are.

When I see that Gong Li is in a film, I don't ask questions. I watch it.

KIM Yunjin is a native Korean, active in Hollywood scenes. She is a hard-working woman!

Remember The Walking Dead? Well, I don't. I never watched it. But I do remember seeing several clips of it in which he was.

His international talent is underrated. He can act in Korean perfectly with subtle nuance as well as in English. His films and shows may not be flashy with explosions and fight choreography that overwhelms sensories. Rather, his works are filled with brilliance and pensive messages.

I briefly saw her in The Handmaid's Tale, then in The Expanse. At first, I thought she had Chinese background. I love the fact that she carries the face and the energy that can pass as any Asian ethnicity. You go, girl.

I began to follow her since her appearance in the Expanse. She had such a presence that I could not take my eyes off her. Patti Kim is another actress with a face and energy that can play a wide range of roles, not just Asians but also American Indians and other ethnicity. When I think of minority roles, I think of Patti Kim. I look forward to seeing more of her.

I do not remember the first time I saw him, but I remember seeing him in various SciFi series, such a BSG, The 100, and SG-1. I also remember seeing him in Psych. He has been one of the most consistent, growing performers.
