"Twilight" star and Cullen patriarch Peter Facinelli must have been inspired by the relatively new MTV Movie Awards category Best Wtf Moment, as well as the various bleeped out profanities heard on tonight's broadcast. When accepted the award for Best Movie on behalf of the "New Moon" cast at tonight's award show, Facinelli launched into a list of thank-yous with a twist: a slew of F-bombs interlaced throughout his speech. Several of which were not caught in time to be completely bleeped out during what would have been a tough night for any censor.
In honor of Facinelli's choice words, we thought we'd highlight a few memorable moments that live on in TV F-bomb infamy.

Remember last fall, when Ernie Anastos, co-anchor of Fox's Wnyw New York affiliate, entered the viral video clip Hall of Fame by dropping what sounded like an f-bomb ("Keep f---ing that chicken") live on a 10 p.m. newscast?
Well, he may have company. Rosanna Scotto, who co-anchors Wnyw's morning news, didn't drop an f-bomb this morning, but her on-air slip was just as awkward. Via Vulture:
The incident proves what I've been saying for years: local news anchors are literally incapable of ad-libbing anything.

Way back when, a news anchor in New York said something rather unfortunate on the air. Well, unfortunate to him, but hilarious to anyone else with a working central nervous system.
Ernie Anastos, the Fox news anchor in New York, accidentally uttered the now-immortal phrase "keep $&%^ing that chicken" during a throwback on an evening news cast. Anastos told The New York Times in a recent profile that he didn't realize he had said anything bad until after that night's broadcast and insists he was trying to say "plucking."
Despite the reputation of the infamous moment, Anastos said he's done denying that the infamous word fell from his mouth because "If you keep saying, 'I didn't really say that,' it doesn't sound right. This is New York. That particular word is practically 'hello,' the way it is used."

What is with New York City news anchors dropping f-bombs on live television?
While bantering with the weatherman on Fox's Wnyw, longtime New York City news anchor Ernie Anastos jovially flubbed a line on Wednesday, creating a new obscene catchphrase rapidly spreading across the internet.
Anastos, who likely meant to say "Keep plucking that chicken," after making a play on an old chicken commercial, swapped the "pl" for a letter F. The news veteran remained oblivious to his flub and continued on with the broadcast as though nothing had happened. But his co-anchor's eyes nearly popped out of her head.
Watch the video flub after the jump.

Ernie Anastos -- the veteran Wnyw anchor responsible for launching “keep f---ing that chicken” (alongside "Imma let you finish" and "You lie!") into our pop culture parlance -- apologized during the 10 p.m. newscast Thursday, less than 24 hours after inexplicably uttering those YouTube-ready words on air.

I love news bloopers, and this one is a doozy. Wnyw's Ernie Anastos actually said the phrase "keep f**king that chicken" live on television the other night during a newscast.
The look on the female anchor's face is priceless. I think I'll take a screen grab of it and use it as my Twitter or Facebook avatar.

PopWatch is still investigating whether Fox 5 News anchor Ernie Anastos' "Keep f--ing that chicken" outburst (embedded below) was really a subliminal cross-promotion for KJLA TV's Cannabis Planet. One thing we know for sure is that "Keep f--ing that chicken" works as a blanket retort of friendly support in nearly all personal and professional situations. For example, Michael Slezak just told me he'd received two dinner rolls instead of one at the create-your-own-pasta place. Oh, really? How nice for you! Keep f--ing that chicken, buddy! This qualifies as "professional" because we are both currently at the office. Leave your best setups for "Keep f--ing that chicken" in the comments, before this tenderly baked slice of ridiculata becomes annoying.

Local television news is not something I generally pay attention to, much less cover. That is, until their anchors inexplicably let the expletives fly. Live. And are promptly archived on YouTube. (YouTube has got to be the worst thing ever invented for local television anchors, as their mistakes now live forever in infamy online.)

In Los Angeles, local news anchors/reporters get in trouble for dating the mayor. In New York, the trouble usually starts because of something they say.
Take Wnyw 10 p.m. anchor Ernie Anastos. On Wednesday's broadcast, the veteran reporter appears to have a complete mental meltdown during a conversation with the weatherman.
First, he blathers on about it taking a "tough man to make a tender forecast." Whatever that means.
But then, after the weather dude tries to make a joking response, Anastos apparently advises him -...

Feel the 'Burn' Ratings: Last Wednesday's "Live with Regis & Kelly," which featured the show's first "High Heel-a-Thon," spiked the show's ratings by 20 percent over season-to- date numbers - and raised $60,000 for the March of Dimes in the process.
The sec ond-season premiere of USA spy drama "Burn No tice," meanwhile, snared 5.4 million viewers, a record for the series and up 35 percent over last season's premire. Jeffrey Donovan stars.
