Exclusive: The distributor has picked up North American rights to Dusty Bias’s Sonoma International Film Festival audience and jury best feature winner.
The Great & The Small stars Nick Fink, Melanie Lynskey, Ritchie Coster, Ann Dowd and Louisa Krause.
The drama follows a young man involved in a robbery who tries to elude the authorities and win back the heart of his girlfriend as time runs out.
It also screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival, Arizona Independent Film Festival and Nashville Film Festival.
Breaking Glass Pictures CEO Rich Wolff negotiated the deal with Glen Reynolds of Circus Road and plans a theatrical premiere in Los Angeles followed by VOD and DVD roll-out this winter.

The film marks Dusty Bias' first feature and is being distributed by Film Movement on U.S. and Canadian territories, reports Deadline. From the frozen plains of North Dakota comes this wonderfully bizarre story about three people searching for love in the oddest ways. When a mysterious vagrant, wandering the deserted, snow-covered plains, discovers a nearly frozen local man, he stops to lend a hand.
