John Torode and Lisa Faulkner never argue in the kitchen. The 50-year-old chef has admitted that he and his 43-year-old TV presenter girlfriend - whom he met while judging 'Celebrity MasterChef' in 2010 - love to cook recipes together. My kids love the food and I love the food and Lisa and I like to cook together. It's good.'' John also claimed that he and Lisa don't follow a schedule...

BBC One has cooked up another culinary competition show, this time hosted by James Martin.
The Box is receiving an order for 25 half-hour episodes, which will be spread over five weeks during the daytime.
In each episode, three home cooks must create a dish from an unseen box of ingredients chosen by a celebrity guest.
Winning this task gives the contestant a key advantage for the all-important second challenge, as Martin selects ingredients to go into three new Boxes.
The winner of the first task gets to choose which Box they cook from, and which ones their rivals must use.
Celebrity guests for this series include Mary Berry, Ainsley Harriot, Lisa Faulkner, Helen George, Margaret Mountford, Fay Ripley, Pru Leith, Craig Revel Horwood, Alex Jones, Esther Rantzen and Jessie Wallace.
"The Box is a great opportunity for the country's home cooks to show off their talents," Martin said. "I'm really...

There's nothing here to rival the jaw-dropping shock of Lisa Faulkner's deep fat fryer demise in the series' second episode back in 2002, but The Greater Good stands as a solid spy thriller that successfully harnesses the tone and feel of the TV show. Line of Duty series one was brilliant television. One of the hottest dramas in 2012, it had massive ratings (It was BBC Two's best performing drama in a decade) and Jed Mercurio's script winded and jagged with swagger and style.
Anyone who remembers the ending of the first series will know it was wrapped up smartly and without the usual loose ends offered by most writers these days, optimistically hoping for a second series. It felt like a single piece and news of a sequel was welcome - the more TV from Mercurio the better - but had many scratching their heads.
Without the brilliant and charismatic Lennie James at centre stage, was Line of Duty series two merely going to be trading off the first series' name and end up looking like a pale imitation?
Any concerns about that were quickly extinguished in an opening episode that was brimming with tension,...

Celebrity MasterChef concludes this week and only three stars remain in with a chance of taking home the series crown.
Janet Street-Porter, Les Dennis and Ade Edmondson are the trio who have rustled up tarts, pastas, meat and two veg and a healthy dollop of puddings for judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode.
But who do you want to win? Who has climbed to the top of the pile and proved themselves to be a surprising culinary genius?
In the final two shows, the trio face a host of daunting new challenges, including tackling John Torode's rabbit three ways dish, cooking for Michelin star chefs and dishing up their own best three-course meal.
All three celebrities will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of recent champions Emma Kennedy, rugby star Phil Vickery and actress Lisa Faulkner.

Spooks was a great TV series that ran for a decade – what more is there to tell? This trend for turning TV shows into movies needs to stop
The world needs a Spooks movie like it needs to be mauled by a bear, but that won't necessarily stop one from happening. According to Peter Firth, who played MI5 boss Harry Pearce, the writers of Spooks the TV series now have a script in the works for Spooks the film. "They should make it," Firth told The Huffington Post. "It's not like it's a gamble with this one. But it costs a lot, and there's not a lot of money to go round at the moment."
Here's another idea: they shouldn't make it. Spooks had a decade-long run on television. It had 86 hours to tell its story, and it did it very well. The ending, when it finally came in 2011, felt timely and satisfying and conclusive.

From the sublime to the ridiculous. The Caves Of Androzani – one of the finest examples of Doctor Who – was always going to stand tall when compared to the following story. But when that story's The Twin Dilemma, it's like comparing the Bfg with Ronnie Corbett.
The Twin Dilemma has – um – not exactly been welcomed by open arms with the fans of Doctor Who. It's frequently languishing at the bottom of Most Popular Story polls and has been subjected to the sort of scorn that a simpleton yokel would have got in the stocks back in the days of yore. So feel free to hurl a rotten tomato at the following. The lousy script. The tacky production. The weak direction. The monsters. The twins. It's a complete and utter disaster, but the problem is it shouldn't be, since it's the first story for the brand new Doctor.
Oh, god, that outfit.

Lip Service
Oh, "Lip Service," how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. 1. You're completely terrible and I love to laugh at you. 2. Oh dear, there's only one way, and it's that one I just listed. The laughing-at-it way. But honestly, it really is genuinely hilarious and I suppose, if I'm honest, it has picked up since its first episode which, thanks to the BBC's re-watch service, I can now watch over and over and over to make myself laugh.
It all starts when Shane... sorry, I mean Frankie. It's a completely different character to Shane from "The L Word," completely different. She's called Frankie, for a start, which is a totally different name to "Shane" -- and she's a sexy butch dyke with a short, choppy haircut, jeans, a leather jacket, dark eye make-up and slouchy body language. Oh yeah that's right, now I think about it...

Angelina Jolie's rekindled relationship with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller is off - after the British actor refused to spend Christmas with her in America. The pair, who divorced in 1999 after four years of marriage, began dating again after Jolie split from husband Billy Bob Thornton and Miller from his fiance Lisa Faulkner. They have been spotted enjoying cozy dates together in London, where Jonny lives, and Angelina has been shooting action sequel Tomb Raider II. But, according to sources close to the stars, Jolie has put the brakes on the blossoming romance, after her new beau refused to join her in California for the festive season. A pal told British tabloid the Daily Mirror, "Angelina has her heart set on them going back to LA but Jonny has made it clear he doesn't want to go. She's been bombarding him with calls begging him to change his mind. But he's made it clear he doesn't want to rush anything. Angelina, on the other hand is a very passionate and needy person. She doesn't want to take things slowly and Jonny is one of the few men she feels she can trust." The pair married in 1995 after meeting on the set of movie Hackers.

Angelina Jolie is back in the arms of ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller, five months after splitting from fellow actor Billy Bob Thornton. The pair, who married after meeting on the set of 1995 movie Hackers, divorced in 1999 - but friends say they became close again after the end of Jolie's marriage to Thornton and Miller's split from former fiancee, British actress Lisa Faulkner. Angelina recently declared she hoped the two "might find a way back to each other", and her wish has now come true. The couple were spotted smooching over dinner at a swanky London restaurant on Friday. A fellow diner at Claridges Hotel tells British tabloid The Daily Mirror, "They were all over each other. Angelina had draped herself over Jonny and they were giggling away. It awas a bit odd as the restaurant was crowded and people kept walking past them. They seemed oblivious to the fact it was so busy. People were gawping at them." The actress is in the British capital filming Tomb Raider 2.

Hollywood babe Angelina Jolie's renewed friendship with ex-husband Jonny Lee Miller has "put a smile back on her face". The American star, who filed for divorce from Billy Bob Thornton in July after an intense two-year marriage, is currently in Miller's native Britain filming the sequel to Tomb Raider - and has managed to restore relations with her first husband, who she says she still "loves." Although Miller failed to return Jolie's calls upon arriving in the country two months ago, since his split from his actress fiance Lisa Faulkner last month, the pair have started talking to each other on the phone several times a day. A source reports, "Angelina is on the phone to Jonny all the time now that she's back in London. She was really down in the dumps when she arrived in the UK. Her marriage was over and she had her adopted son Maddox on her own. But re-establishing contact with Jonny has put a smile on her face." And on a recent charity trip to Manchester, Jolie apparently gave her mobile phone to her assistant with strict instructions that she did not want to be disturbed by anyone but Miller. The source adds, "He called up a number of times. She was giggling and joking every time."...
