As Kim Kardashian returns to the spotlight on social media, her ex, Ray J, can’t stop talking about the reality star. The musician and TV personality is currently a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother where the topic of their relationship and infamous sex tape has come up more than once.
On Thursday night’s episode, Ray J was asked by singer Stacy Francis about his romance with Kardashian, which lasted from 2003 to 2006.
When Francis told Ray J that she though Kardashian had been “really really” in love with him, he replied, “Nah, but she was a player though.”
Francis, who knows both Ray J’s sister Brandy and Kardashian, said, “She was not a player. She was crying her eyes out over you!”

We are two weeks into the live shows for The X Factor. I was a little behind because of Hurricane Sandy, but thanks to my DVR I was able to see the 16 finalists perform before this week's Wednesday episode. I'll be the first to admit that even though the show's second season has received an underwhelming reception so far, I have made it a point to watch -- although at times I found myself wondering why. Despite the cute and spunky Demi Lovato, and Britney Spears' animated and highly entertaining facial expressions at the judge's table, the audition episodes seemed poorly edited and chaotic, as they bounced back and forth to footage of the same cities week after week. I was hoping that things would be fine-tuned by the time the first go round of live performances aired last week. The show had all the elements for great TV -- slick production value,...

U.S. presidents have typically stayed out of the "who is going to win 'American Idol'" fray in the past in order to avoid upsetting any voting blocs. But that doesn't mean that foreign dignitaries can't offer up their two cents.
That might explain why on the eve of the penultimate performance night on "Idol," the Associated Press reported that Philippine president Benigno Aquino III has wholeheartedly endorsed his choice for next week's finale: Jessica Sanchez.
"Hopefully, she really reaches the top," Aquino said of the 16-year-old top three finalists from Chula Vista, California, who is of Filipino and Latin heritage.

Trayvon Martin's parents are speaking out about the death of their son, whose shooting has sparked nationwide protests. Some are charging his shooter with racism -- but the slain teen's mom says that's not what she wants people to take away from his death. While his parents wait for the Trayvon Martin case to go to court on April 10, they are trying to keep the focus on obtaining justice for their son. Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon's mom, told People that though she's both angry and sad, she and his father are determined that Trayvon's death will make a difference. "People want to make this a black and white issue, but I believe this is about right and wrong," Sybrina says in the April 9 cover story. Chris is the latest celebrity to pay his respects to Trayvon by sporting a hoodie. The tragic case of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old boy who was shot to death by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Sanford, Fla. on Feb. 26, has rocked the nation. Despite being caught up in a messy love triangle with girlfriend Karrueche Tran and ex Rihanna, embattled singer Chris Brown is doing what he can to show solidarity with Trayvon's family. On Mar. 27, Chris tweeted out a picture of himself and two friends wearing F.A.M.E and Fortune hoodies (his most recent album titles) to his nearly 10 million followers. "Trayvon Martin!" the accompanying tweet read. As HollywoodLife.com reported earlier today, on Mar. 27, in the midst of protests nationwide, singers including Stacy Francis, Chaka Khan and Eric Benet gathered in a Hollywood recording studio to re-record Chaka's "Super Life" in memory of the fallen teenager.

More than a dozen musicians, singers, TV personalities and actors came together to re-record Chaka Khan's 'Super Life' in memory of murdered teen, Trayvon Martin. Now that's a cause worth singing about! Celebrities Chaka Khan, Eric Benet, X Factor finalist Stacy Francis, Kelly Price, Kenny Latimore, Terry Crews, Angela Bassett and more joined forces on March 25 at Hollywood's Henson recording studios to re-recorded "Super Life," while thousands of marchers took to the streets in support of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed 17-year-old boy shot to death by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida. The song's lyrics, from Chaka's 2007 album Funk This, are eerily similar to Trayvon's tragic story. "A mama's cryin' 'Cause another young man has gone and died / He's not some statistic / He's another awesome destiny denied." "We take it all so lightly / How did we get so 'climatized / On the 9 o'clock news nightly / Genocide of babies / I can't believe my eyes.

Former "X Factor" contestant Stacy Francis is offering more details about her recent night club spat with Whitney Houston, a squabble that happened just two days before Houston's death.
In an interview with "Extra," Francis talks about the Feb. 9 tussle. She explains that "there was an exchange, but it wasn't a violent exchange...She didn't push me in the head...If it were not Whitney Houston, it could have been very bad."
Francis adds more color to the event, saying, "I looked at her and she moved my face away."
Radar Online has previously reported that Houston and Francis got into it at Hollywood's Tru Nightclub. It appears that the cause of the ruckus was when Francis was talking to Houston's sometimes boyfriend Ray J. But for that, Francis explains that they're just family friends.

Stacy Francis has revealed that Whitney Houston was considering becoming a judge on The X Factor USA prior to her death. The former X Factor contestant had a now-infamous altercation with Houston at Kelly Price's pre-Grammy party, a mere two days before the popstar was found dead in her Beverly Hilton hotel room. Houston and the X Factor star, who once performed together in 1999, became embroiled in an argument after Francis was accused of seducing the 'Run To You' singer's on-off boyfriend Ray J. Francis revealed that before their reunion turned sour, Houston had confided in her that she was mulling over an offer to join Simon Cowell and La Reid as an X Factor judge. Houston's past drug abuse and erratic behavior, most recently witnessed in the days before her death when she clashed with reality star Stacy Francis at a pre-Grammy party, frequently eclipsed her career accomplishments. Her voice, once the best in the business, had become hoarse and strained. "She's a church girl, she related to the church girl in me," Price tells Rolling Stone. "I'm a church girl, I related to the church girl in her."
Price also tells Rolling Stone that she wanted to set the record straight about Houston's condition on Thursday. Several outlets, including RadarOnline, are reporting that Houston was "downing tequila" and even threw a tantrum when she found boyfriend Ray J talking to former "X Factor" contestant Stacy Francis.

Whitney Houston has died, her rep confirms to The Hollywood Reporter. News broke at around 5 p.m. pacific standard time. The R&B singer and multiple grammy winner was 48 years old and was due to make an appearance at the Clive Davis pre-Grammy gala on Saturday night. She was spotted in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Thursday morning where she was overheard chastising an assistant. Later that night, Houston got into an altercation with X Factor finalist Stacy Francis at an R&B appreciation event where she was said to be acting "belligerent.
On Friday night, as THR broke news that Houston had been approached for the judges' seat on X Factor, she was said to be at a spa, according to her publicist. Says a source close to Clive Davis, "This is a sad day and it will be a sad Grammys weekend." No word yet on the cause of death or whether it was drug-related.

X Factor USA contestant Stacy Francis has said she was sad to learn Paula Abdul would not be returning for a second season. It was confirmed this week that Abdul and fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger, alongside host Steve Jones, had exited the Fox competition after one season. Writing on her Twitter account, singer Francis said: "I am so sorry to hear that @PaulaAbdul wasn't asked back to do the X Factor. She made the contestants feel important and loved. It is a real care and concern not just for the cameras. And as artist we needed that so much because of the stress of the show. Its sad. (sic)." Francis was mentored on The X Factor by former Pussycat Doll Scherzinger, and added to The Hollywood Reporter that although she was "shocked" by her exit, she felt the singer had a "hard time" on the show, especially (more)...

Stacy Francis had a habit of crying when she was performing—or just talking, for that matter—when she was competing on The X Factor. However, she's not exactly shedding that many tears over Simon Cowell's massive bloodbath yesterday that left Steve Jones, Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger cut from season two. Scherzinger was Francis' mentor. "Listen, Nicole isn't a bad person but I don't think she was ever committed enough," Francis tells me exclusively. "She didn't have her head in the game." Francis said Scherzinger was Mia more than she should have been. When she was there, Francis said, she felt Scherzinger's ego could get in the way. "At ...

The news is still sinking in for the thousands of X Factor viewers -- many of whom tried out for the show's inaugural season -- that judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul would not be returning for season 2, along with host Steve Jones. But one who made it through to bootcamp and onto the live show, audience favorite Stacy Francis, expressed a mix of emotions when asked about the high-profile exits. "I was shocked," said the 42-year-old finalist, who made it to the Top 10 on the show as a member of Scherzinger's "Over 30s" team. "I

After some time to rest, and some time to reflect on the first season of The X Factor, let's now analyze what worked and what didn't work for Fox's new reality singing competition.
Join me as we look back at the highs of Josh Krajcik's "Wild Horses" and Astro's near elimination, as well as the lows of L.A. Reid's judging style and Marcus Canty's hundreds of backup dancers.
What Worked
Finding Favorites: As is the case for any reality competition, The X Factor was a platform for fans to pick a favorite and cheer for said favorite to win the $5 million recording contract. There is a reason why so many of these types of shows perform well in the ratings, and it is mostly because of the rooting interesting involved for the audience. What a fabulous night The X Factor finale brought this week! What a satisfying win! Along with finally crowning the winner of this competition (the winner of which had the title in the bag from the moment they auditioned), the final twelve returned to the stage as well as some big names including Justin Bieber and Leona Lewis. Not only that, the show got into the Christmas spirit, which brought the night’s high even higher!
The final twelve opened the finale with Lady Gaga’s “Edge of Glory” and there were actually more faces that were not missed than missed. Looking back, the right people definitely made it to the finals. During the performance, we discovered that Drew has become a brunette. Whether or not she is as stylish as she thinks, she has some growing up to do in general before taking on a $5 million responsibility. So, as much as we love her,...

The word “Finale” — spelled out in all caps using pure molten lava — bubbled and exploded across a giant electronic screen. A lithe young woman in a red-and-white striped, fur-trimmed bathing suit writhed seductively inside an oversized snow globe. And Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene, and Josh Krajcik were reduced to blubbering, carol-singing wrecks.

It's been a long and winding road, but after countless tears, tantrums and dramatic eliminations, we've reached the final performance show of "The X Factor." Our top three contestants sang for a 5 million-dollar recording contract and the hearts of the American public -- or approximately 12 million of them, anyway.
Best of all, midway through the episode, I realized that I don't actually care who wins; not because the performers are mundane or because everyone I was rooting for has already been eliminated, but because all three finalists seem to be genuinely gracious, humble and -- most importantly -- talented individuals. They each deserve the life-changing opportunity one of them is about to receive. If winning were based on technical ability and vocal range alone, Melanie Amaro would have been crowned the champion weeks ago; but Chris Rene's presence in the top three is proof that carrying a tune isn't everything.

Sometimes it lasts on The X Factor, and sometimes it hurts instead. And indeed, this week’s Top 5 results-night telecast featured the hurting kind of conclusion — no matter which of the bottom two acts had your loyalty.
But enough of the Adele references — for there were almost enough tears spilled on Planet X during the 60-minute telecast to wash away Nicole Shameflinger’s copious sins against music, television, and general good taste. Let’s cut to the results…

Stacy Francis brought drama to The X Factor stage right from her audition — a tear streaked rendition of “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman” — all the way to her final moments on the stage (a tense judges’ vote on whether to cut her, or petulant rapper Astro). TVLine caught up with Season 1′s 10th place finisher to ask her about controversy over the way her backstory was presented on the show, her personal take on the right time to go for a glory note, and whether or not she thinks she’s cut out to be a pop star.

Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but the man can still boogie.
For years there have been clips floating around the internet from the "Top Gun" actor's 42nd birthday bash in 2004 aboard the Scientology cruise ship Freewinds. Some sites list it as a 40th birthday party, but the guy is 49 now… do the math.
The footage shows current controversial "X Factor" contestant Stacy Francis belting out tunes from Tom Terrific's filmography, including "Take My Breath Away" and "Kokomo." However, some never-before-seen craziness has quietly tip-toed its way online recently of Cruise getting down to some "Old Time Rock and Roll," the Bob Seger classic the actor made famous in his 1983 breakout flick "Risky Business."
His famous scene rocking out in a living room and jumping on a couch (before Tom doing that was considered gauche) is recreated 20 years later, proving he still has all the right moves before it...

Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like winning a reality singing competition and becoming a global music superstar (please pardon the Kelly Clarkson paraphrase). Others wind up respectively landing in eight and ninth place, which doesn’t quite have the same confetti-from-the-rafters, loved-ones-crying-tears-of-joy, celebratory ring to it.
Alas, though, that’s the “reality” part of being on a reality show, and this week’s installment of The X Factor was all about the cruel business of sending two acts back home – on the worst travel day of the year (¡!), while outfitted in bizarre circus garb (the result of...

X Factor USA contestant Stacy Francis has said that she would love to follow in the footsteps of Jennifer Hudson and combine a singing career with acting. The mother-of-two was eliminated from the Fox singing competition last week after falling into the bottom two alongside Astro following their Rock Week performances. Speaking about her future during an interview on The Wendy Williams Show this week, she said: "I'm just hoping the show and platform [helps] my music career take off and someone does a record with me. "I'm just hoping that it goes well. I still have to support my babies! And with my career, I'd love to act [like] Jennifer Hudson, I'd love that. That would be amazing." X Factor USA contestant Astro promised fans that he would never let them down again following his performance on Tuesday night's live show. The 15-year-old rapper landed in the bottom two last week and was criticised for his initial reluctance to perform a save me song, telling the judges he didn't want to perform again for people who didn't want to see him. He did, however, go on to perform and was ultimately saved from elimination when the judges chose to send home Stacy Francis instead. Following his performance of 'Show Me What You Got' by Jay-z on Tuesday, the teenager took a moment to address the results show incident. "Before [the judges] start talking I just want to say that last week I had a moment," he said. "It got over my head a little bit. I could have handled myself better. Astro, who was saved from elimination by the judges last week after falling into the bottom two alongside Stacy Francis, teased his performance on Twitter. In a series of messages, he wrote: "Got another epic record from an epic Hip-Hop artist! From The most epic Hip-Hop artist!... The performance is looking crazy right now. When the judges announced he'd have to go head-to-head with Stacy Francis to save his spot on the show, he threw a mini temper-tantrum, refused to perform another song and shed a few tears.
As it turns out, the emotional incident has helped Astro grow his online fanbase. He told 'Good Day L.A.'
