We’ve all done it.
At some point in our lives, each and every one of us has fallen on our arse in public. Depending on the circumstances, it can be funny, it can be painful, but it’s almost always humiliating. Now imagine taking one of those tumbles in front of tens of thousands of fans in an arena, and millions watching around the world on live TV.
Fun, huh?
There’s been literally hundreds of trips, spills, and falls in wrestling over the years, and I’m sure you will all have your favorites. Here are fifteen of mine, in all their red-faced glory…

It’s been said that nobody is perfect, and everybody is capable of making mistakes. That’s certainly something WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia knows about, because the likeable lass has made her fair share over the years! Often, this has led to situations whereby Garcia has had to hold her hands up and make light of the situation on social media. Hey – it happens.
Joining the then-World Wrestling Federation way back in 1999, Garcia immediately turned her hand to ring announcing. Her employment with the promotion was constant until she decided to depart a decade later in 2009. This followed an announcement by the company that Lilian had become their only ‘Decade Diva’, honouring her length of service.
In addition to her ring announcing duties, which Lilian resumed upon returning to WWE in late-2011, she is a constantly-smiling presence on television. Behind the scenes, she has made friendships with...

Is it just me, or was the internet fallout of this week’s Raw a little…malicious? Usually various social media platforms can be relied upon for a few scathing critiques, be the target an individual wrestler, a particular fan, the entire show, or even WWE’s product as a whole. But this week, everything seemed to intensify. Absolutely everyone was intent on attacking one another, in some way or another.
Whether it be security stripping a fan of an anti-Reigns sign, Paul Heyman staring down Michael Cole, or Lilian Garcia hitting back at her critics with a sassy Tweet, everyone seemed a little more fired-up than usual.
Thankfully, it wasn’t all angst and rage. We still saw a number of funny goofs, pertinent observations, and one particularly…interesting breakdown of online fan-fiction. Every cloud has a silver lining, I suppose…

Sexuality used to be a key element of WWE Raw.
I know, I know…don’t fall off of your chairs out of shock and awe.
During the height of Attitude, and even well into the Ruthless Aggression Era, women and their willingness to show off their bodies in highly sexual and suggestive matches and segments were as important to the 18-35 male demographic as the colorful characters and hardcore matches that occurred every Monday night. Those fans wanted as much to be turned on by the exploits of their favorite sexy, barely clothed Divas as they did the wild and chaotic action that unfolded elsewhere on the show.
Over the course of a decade, women such as Trish Stratus, Lita, Sable, Sunny, Christy Hemme and Stacy Keibler provided fans with exactly what they wanted. Whether they were kissing each other or kicking one another in Bra and Panties matches,...

Live from the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, New York, it’s SummerSlam 2015!
Lilian Garcia introduces host Jon Stewart and we’re under way! He drops a Beastie Boys reference and hypes up the show. ‘I’ve spent sixteen years talking about politics, it’s nice to be back in reality’. WWE? Reality? This is clearly a WWE-scripted intro, then. Huge boos for Cena’s name. This crowd is going to eat him alive. Mick Foley is brought out- cheap pops imminent…yup, there it is. They riff with each other for a while and it doesn’t really go anywhere. Still, nice to see Foley and Stewart looks up for this.
After the customary video package, it’s time for our first match…
Sheamus Vs. Randy Orton
Good choice for an opener. Orton went for an Rko early, but Sheamus bailed and cut a ringside promo and fans looking stupid.

For the first time in 21 years, the WWE found themselves in my hometown of Brighton for a house show, now branded as “WWE Live!”. Tickets had sold out very quickly and the venue was legitimately sold out. There was not an empty seat to be seen anywhere. I would estimate that the crowd size was approximately 4000.
The venue set up was different to the 90s. Previously, wrestlers had just come through a door, but now we had an entrance ramp with two small video screens either side of it to show video messages and entrance videos. It was like a TV entrance way but on a smaller scale. After a short video message from Triple H welcoming us to the show, it was time to start the first WWE show at the Brighton Centre since 1993.

Aj Lee is not being added to the cast of Total Divas due to her marriage with Cm Punk, reports f4wonline.com. Despite being Diva’s Champion, she is now one of the few WWE ladies not to be featured on the reality television show. The most recent additions to Total Divas were Paige and Alicia Fox, with both girls set to debut when the new season gets underway in January 2015.
That leaves just Aj, Lana, Emma, Lilian Garcia, Eden, Renee Young and Tamina Snuka as the only main roster girls not featured on Total Divas. Tamina is on the injured list, and Lilian, Eden, Lana and Renee aren’t wrestlers. So really, Aj and Emma are the only female wrestlers to be snubbed. Emma’s omission is probably due to the arrest she had over an iPad case theft in June 2014. The company hasn’t done anything...

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best wrestling division in WWE at-present is not the always solid WWE tag team division. While great, they haven’t had the company’s most athletic in-ring match, and also have lacked as many unique characters and perpetually solid booking. The nod for WWE’s best division overall in the company is a unique one, that being the Nxt Women’s Division. Over the past 18 months, the women wrestling in WWE’s developmental territory have gone above and beyond the call of duty to establish the belt’s excellence. As well, aside from in-ring wrestling, other women in the promotion in roles both large and small have excelled (and continue to excel).
The best question to ask in pro wrestling these days isn’t about which of your favorite independent male grapplers of the past decade are going to have the most WWE success.

Talk about a serious smackdown. WWE SmackDown announcer Lilian Garcia was hit by a car in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon according to WWE. The blonde ring announcer suffered "multiple contusions and lacerations on the left side of her body." Garcia was hospitalized and is currently undergoing further testing as her condition is unknown, according to the wrestling organization's website. Garcia's second husband, Chris, tells the WWE that everyone is "praying for her full recovery." We second that emotion.

1) Randy Orton vs Mark Henry goes to a no-contest when Kane interferes to further his feud with Orton. Kane attacks Cowboy Bob Orton who accompanied his son to ringside.
