Victor Gonzalez was eliminated from Love Island USA Season 5 in Episode 10. While he tells TV Insider that he “was happy leaving,” what happened with Carmen Kocourek and Carsten “Bergie” Bergersen after his elimination confirmed his suspicions that Carmen is on the show for the wrong reasons. “I [would’ve been] happier staying, keep living the experience,” he tells TV Insider after his exit, “but I was comfortable with both decisions.” Victor was sent home in the season’s first fan-voted elimination. He and Carmen were up for elimination together following a bit of a dramatic fallout of the love triangle between them and Bergie. Carmen had stolen Victor as her partner earlier in a previous episode, and then she ended up pairing up with Bergie. Jasmine Sklavanitis was the first to officially be sent home from the Love Island USA villa in season 5. It was a surprise to many viewers given the social media response. The Nashville beauty not only stunned in looks but stood out in occupation as a trauma stepdown ICU nurse. She entered the house choosing Marco Donatelli, who would couple up with Destiny Davis. She did get picked by Victor Gonzalez, but the spark really wasn’t there initially. Despite some potential growing after sharing a kiss, things continued to go downhill for Jasmine when surprise bombshell Carmen Kocourek entered the mix on Day 2. The new face chose Victor when given the ability to “steal” a partner. There seemed to be hope with Harrison Luna, who made a strong first impression thanks to a liplock. However, during the recoupling ceremony, the Aussie bombshell went with Destiny instead, and on Day 5 it was over for Jasmine.

As Last Man Standing entered the homestretch of its eighth season, cast member Amanda Fuller found herself behind the camera for the very first time.
Fuller, who plays Mike and Vanessa’s eldest daughter Kristin, tells us that she first approached the producers about directing an episode in Season 7. “They were very responsive,” she says. “Unfortunately, I had asked too late in the season to get a slot, so they said we’d have to make it work next season, and here we are. It happened, and it was amazing, and I can’t wait to do it again.”
