Haven's Dwight Hendrickson, aka Atom-Smasher from The Flash, aka WWE star Edge, and more properly known as actor Adam Copeland is joining Vikings.
Season five of The History Channel's acclaimed historical drama will welcome Copeland as a recurring character named Ketill Flatnose. According to Deadline, the character will be "a fierce and brave warrior, chosen by Floki to be one of the leaders of the Viking party intent on traveling to Iceland to set up a community there."
It sounds as though his WWE training will come in useful.

For some, the fourth season of Haven might have started going a little goofy. For others, at least it moved somewhat away from the episodic focus, and paid attention to bigger issues. For still others, the show is really getting good. Wherever you fall, you don’t want to miss the premiere of the fifth season, and yes, even if you are among those who thought the show was not doing its best last year.
Things are going to be interesting right from the start, because it looks as though perhaps Audrey isn’t returning, and this may turn into the Mara show. Well, it doesn’t seem especially likely that this is a permanent direction the show will go, but who knows?
Take a look at the video below, and make sure you catch this one this Thursday!
By the way, don’t forget that Laura Mennell is headed to Haven this season.

As a former WWE wrestling champion, Adam Copeland is tickled to his toes that his role as Dwight Hendrickson has become a larger part of the story and vital role on Haven. Dwight is no longer just the “trouble”-plagued town’s “cleaner,” he is one of the town’s heroes. In the absence of Duke (Eric Balfour), Audrey (Emily Rose) and even Nathan (Lucas Bryant), it is Dwight who steps up to keep the peace and help out. Having been one the keepers of the town’s secrets and knowing how to keep a lid on “troubles” from boiling over, Dwight is the natural choice. So the expanding role is a source of delight for co-star Adam Copeland, who was bumped up to series regular as of the show’s fourth season.

The supernatural thriller series Haven upped its game in its third season by revealing that its hero Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) had only 46 more days before she vanishes from existence. For as Audrey just recently found out, in each of Audrey’s prior lives — 27 years ago when she was known as Lucy and three decades before that when she was known as Sarah — Audrey’s former selves mysteriously vanished after a comet known as The Hunter crossed the horizon.
In her short six-month stay in the sleepy town of Haven, Maine, this was by far the most terrifying prospect Audrey had encountered. As if coming face-to-face with the woman whose identity she inadvertently taken on was not startling enough, now Audrey has found out that her days in Haven are numbered.
Adding another dire layer to the mystery is a creepy serial-killer stalking Audrey and all those she holds dear.

It's been awhile since we've mentioned Syfy's hit series "Haven," but this latest news was just too juicy to ignore. WWE Superstar Edge is returning to the show and will appear in multiple episodes of the show’s third season including the premiere, September 21st at 10Pm Et/Pt.
From the Press Release:
Edge (aka Adam Copeland) will reprise his role of Dwight Hendrickson, a shrewd, longtime Haven resident and “troubled” handyman who can truly handle anything, and often does, as the town’s “cleaner.” A close ally of Nathan’s (Lucas Bryant), Dwight helps to cover up all of the town’s supernatural goings on and to keep Haven’s secrets hidden.
Season Three of "Haven" picks up immediately following the events of the gripping Season Two finale with Audrey (Emily Rose) having been brutally kidnapped, Nathan warned against pursuing a romantic relationship with Audrey, and Duke (Eric Balfour...

Some of the best news coming out of Syfy lately is the fact that Haven is returning for its third season on September 21, less than a month away. There is an atmosphere on the show, set in a small seaside town in Maine (no surprise, as it’s based on a novella by Stephen King), that combines with the exceptional cast chemistry and fantastically twisty plots to make it easily my favorite show on Syfy. You could say it has – sorry – an Edge.
Because it does. WWE superstar Edge (Adam Copeland) joined the show for a few guest appearances last season as Dwight, a “cleaner” of the aftermath of Troubled incidents, and now we hear from Syfy that he’ll be back for Season 3. It would be easy to suspect that this is stunt casting, but honestly, he’s a natural. The show has consistently excellent writing, but the actors still need to bring it,...

WWE fans, another WWE Superstar will be lending their talent to a Syfy show. Joining the ranks of Cody Rhodes who guest starred on Warehouse 13 this past fall, Edge aka Adam Copeland will be guest starring on Syfy’s Haven in its upcoming new season this summer.
This won’t be Copeland’s first involvement with the sci-fi/fantasy genre. He had a small part in Highlander: Endgame in 2000 and will also guest star in the final episode of the third season of Amanda Tapping‘s Sanctuary.
In Haven, Edge will play Dwight Hendrickson, “a shrewd, longtime Haven resident” with connections to Nathan’s late father and Haven’s ‘troubled’ past. Check out the full press release below:
