Comforting Skin Trailer. Derek Franson‘s Comforting Skin (2011) movie trailer stars Victoria Bidewell, Tygh Runyan, Jane Sowerby, Phil Granger, and Ava Hughes. Comforting Skin‘s plot synopsis: “a supernatural thriller that follows Koffie, a lonely young woman who’s desperate need for emotional and sexual companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.”
Damn does this horror movie look good and somehow it “was shot last spring on a budget of roughly $250,000.” I’m impressed.
On the tattoo special effects in Comforting Skin:
That was done through the use of digital animation and compositing techniques, requiring custom code developed by VFX Supervisor Ollie Rankin.
Comforting Skin also stars Eugene Lipinski, Jenn Griffin, Paul Jarrett, Laura Soltis, John Tench, Stephen Lofstrom, Jesai Jayhmes, Nicola Rollet, and Jared Cote.

The Alcatraz TV Show Trailer has premiered. Danny Cannon‘s Alcatraz (2013), produced by J.J. Abrams, stars Sarah Jones, Sam Neill, Jorge Garcia, Parminder Nagra, and Robert Forster. Alcatraz‘s plot synopsis: “Alcatraz follows Rebecca Madsen, a police officer (Sarah Jones), and Dr. Diego Soto (Jorge Garcia), a ‘hippy geek’ who is the world’s foremost expert on Alcatraz. Both will investigate the reappearance of twenty wardens and prisoners of Alcatraz in modern day, after their mysterious disappearance fifty years ago.”
Some fool over at another website quipped that this show looked like The 4400, true, but then surmised that this plot also had something to do with aliens, wrong. Even if it were true, I doubt J.J. Abrams would ripoff a deceased USA show so blatantly. He has something crafty up his sleeve to explain the Alcatraz criminals lack of age. They were probably frozen somehow and stored like a...

Sometimes, I just want to give Olivia (Anna Torv) a big hug. She needs it. Especially since she's dealing with all the crap that comes with preventing an inter-dimensional car crash, and trying to discern what kind of feelings the man she loves has for her doppelganger. No pressure. At Massive Dynamic, Nina Sharp (Blair Brown) discusses the mysterious book "The First People" with Olivia, wondering if Fauxlivia's journals mention it. They didn't but this opens the opportunity for Nina to broach Olivia about her feelings about Fauxlivia and Peter (Joshua Jackson). Poor Olivia doesn't blame Peter for falling for her double, saying "She's like me, only better." Nina plays the motherly card, and tells Liv that she should just ask Peter how he feels. Meanwhile, a guy named Warren Blake (Paul Jarrett) is having an office birthday party. A box arrives for him with a very freaky voodoo-ish doll...

Set to hit theaters around the globe at the stroke of midnight, "Twilight" mania has taken over the movie world.
With the third installment of the hit vampire series opening in a record number of theaters - 4,416 screens - there's definitely the expectation of Huge earnings for the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner led film.
Stirring up a little relationship talk prior to the release, producer Wyck Godfrey recently spoke with Time magazine of the Kristen/Robert off-screen chatter.
Of the real-life romance, Godfrey tells, "I honestly don’t think of it in terms of business. It doesn’t affect our core business at all. The thing I do think about is, Oh my God, I hope they stay together. Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out. It’s like, Wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies.
