The Magic Mike star looked quite bizarre in a fashion forward, Vivienne Westwood suit at a screening of his new movie, Mud.
Maybe McConaughey was channeling The Museum of Modern Art where the screening took place.
At least the suit looked better paired with his wife Camila Alves (L) than with Lisa Marie Falcone.
But things did not get better when he took off the jacket, making the pants look even more bizarre.

If you still have Christmas cards to send out and are looking for something a little different this year, Anchor Bay had created six eCards featuring scenes from the recently released Silent Night. For any of our readers who are good with Photoshop, we thought these could be a good start for some really interesting Christmas cards you could create.
Silent Night is a loose remake of the horror cult classic Silent Night, Deadly Night and stars Malcolm McDowell, Jaime King, Donal Logue, Lisa Marie, Brendan Fehr, and Ellen Wong:
“McDowell and King star as a small-town sheriff and deputy on the hunt for a murderous Santa Claus terrorizing their community on Christmas Eve. But with the streets full of Santas for the annual Christmas parade, the killer is hiding in plain sight. He’s made his list, checked it twice, and the naughty are going to pay with their lives.

Some people go to therapy. Tim Burton makes a music video.
The "Frankenweenie" director seems to be working out some personal issues with the music video for The Killers' "Here With Me," the new single from the band's latest album, "Battle Born." Some of it's kind of cute. And some of it might make your skin crawl a little.
We agree with Shock Till You Drop that the whole thing has a "Love Object" (remember that movie?) and "Lars and the Real Girl" (we know you remember that one) kind of vibe with its tale of a young weirdo pining after some sort of inanimate object made to look like a woman (in this case, a sort of wax museum statue). But there's a little more going on here than just a twisted yet whimsical love story ...
Okay, is it just us, or has Burton made Craig Roberts ("Submarine") look...

Lisa Marie Presley has lamented the fact that her late father Elvis Presley didn't meet her children. The singer-songwriter was just 9 years old when her dad died in 1977. Lisa Marie, who has children Danielle, Benjamin, Harper and Finley, said that she makes sure they know everything about the Rock 'N' Roll legend and his incredible career. The 44-year-old told The Sun: "I was like anybody else - fearless as a child and experimental as a teenager - but I had an angel looking over me, and music. "I wasn't really paraded around as a child. Mum protected me really well when I was young. "It hit home when I turned 42 as that was the age when my father died, and his mom too. I have moments when I wish he had lived to see my children, of course I do. (more)...

August marked the 35th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, but his daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, is keeping his spirit alive with her new video, "I Love You Because," a duet with her dad.
The video, set to premiere Thursday (Oct. 18) on Cmt and Cmt.com, was initially recorded as a special treat for the 25,000 fans attending the anniversary concert in Memphis on Aug. 16, but per Cmt, the response from fans convinced Lisa Marie to release the video publicly.
Elvis initially recorded the track "I Love You Because" in July 1954, but producer Sam Phillips thought it was unsuitable for Elvis' first single. The song ended up on his first album in 1956 and never performed it again. Priscilla Presley doesn't think she'll ever find another man she loved as much as Elvis. The 67-year-old actress - who was married to the late singer, who died in 1977, for six years before they divorced - finds it 'pointless' to compare him to other guys because nobody will ever be able to better the 'Hound Dog' hitmaker. Lisa Marie Presley has said that she is "reluctant" to send her children to nursery. However, she isn't ready to enrol them into the education system yet because she thinks they are too young to go. Lisa Marie, who now resides in the United Kingdom after quitting America, wants to keep them at home and spend as much time with them as possible.
She said in an interview with BBC Radio 2: "I'm reluctant to send them to school. I don't want to shove them off to school so early. I'll wait till they're 5 or 6, as that's the age they start in the States. "They start really early here and I'm stunned when I see the age range. Here's a fact: In under three decades, MTV's Video Music Awards have given us more iconic, bizarre, meaningful, meaningless, and awesome moments than literally any other award ceremomy on television. We'll see if this year's ceremony can live up to all 28 others tonight on MTV, but first, let's remember the best moments in the VMAs' kickass, hard-rocking history.
10. Taylor Swift's beautiful dark twisted fantasy with Kanye West
As I remember it, the most mystifying part of the Taylor Swift/Kanye West acceptance speech debacle was the staging. As Swift attempted to thank MTV and her fans while brandishing the Best Female Video trophy for "You Belong to Me" in 2009, West suddenly appeared to her right -- at a perfect camera angle, in record time -- and snarked, "Taylor, I'm really happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time.

Los Angeles, California (X17online) - It has been thirty-five years since Elvis passed away, and for the first time the singer's ex-wife Priscilla and daughter Lisa Marie attended the annual vigil together. "I've always avoided this because I felt that it would be too emotional. But I really felt it was important to come down here tonight. I love you very, very, very much. You should see this from our point of view. It's amazing. It's truly a sight to behold," Priscilla told the crowd, according to the Associated Press. An estimated $75,000 people gathered at The King's Graceland mansion in Memphis to pay tribute to the American icon, who died in 1957 following years of drug abuse. The theme of the tribute was "I'll Never Know," which reflected all the life he never got the chance to live when he died at age 42. Speaking of Elvis's final resting place on the Today show,...

"I'm always really happy when I'm here," Lisa Marie told Natalie Morales on Thursday's Today while chatting inside the house. "It always reminds me of when I was the happiest, I think, in my life. "Today" reporter Natalie Morales sat down in Graceland with Elvis wife Priscilla Presley and daughter Lisa Marie Presley, who attended the vigil for the first time this year, to talk about the late musician.
"I mean, when we opened [Graceland[ in '82, we had no idea that we'd, you know, [we knew] we'd have some visitors, but not to this extent. Memphis, Tenn. -- When Graceland opened to the public 30 years ago this month, nobody knew if it would be a success. Nearly 18 million visitors later, the house where Elvis Presley once lived is a money-making business that's helped transform the city of Memphis into a top destination for music lovers.

A letter Michael Jackson wrote to then-wife Lisa Marie Presley has been pulled from an auction at the request of Presley, reports TMZ.
The handwritten note was set to be auctioned at Julien’s Auction, in Beverly Hills, along with other Jackson memorabilia. It was expected to fetch up to $1,200 until Presley, who was married to Jackson for two years, protested its sale.
In the note, which is estimated to have been written sometime between 1993 and 1996, Jackson complains of his struggle with sleep deprivation.
On lined, yellow paper, Jackson drew a box and an arrow instructing Presley to "smell here." Jackson wrote:

"Oh my goth," Katy Perry tweeted about her dramatic stage entrée and equally eye-catching ensemble Thursday (May 10) at the Narm Music Business Awards in Los Angeles.
Appearing amidst a billowing cloud of smoke with two spotlights behind her to illuminate the darkness, the pop singer made a rock star entrance to accept her award for Artist Of The Year.

I meant to start the Burtonjuice series tonight, a full retrospective of Tim Burton each Thursday night, but that might have to wait one more Thursday. Because we're all Burton'ed out after watching the trailer to Dark Shadows twice in a row to see if it was for real.
Are you for real, trailer?
The trailer runs its mouth but does not answer.
It blabbers, nudges and winks, spreads its finger claws dramatically then goes back to amusing itself. We're glad someone is amused.
So let's break it down with our Yes, No, Maybe So system.
Yes
It does appear that Eva Green is having some fun with her role. Particularly fun is the ass on the piano bit and her deranged in-your-face sexuality. Green reminds me a bit of Lisa Marie here. I know that Tim Burton has long since moved on to Helena Bonham-Carter but don't you kind of miss Lisa Marie?...

Rob Zombie started the week with a big share: first images of Meg Foster in his upcoming witchy haunt Lords Of Salem. The film, opening on October 17, also stars Billy Drago, Clint Howard, Dee Wallace, Ken Foree, Lisa Marie, Michael Merryman, Patricia Quinn, Sheri Moon Zombie, Sid Haig, and Udo Kier.
Lords is set in contemporary Salem, where the modern day townspeople are menaced by a coven of 300-year-old witches.

When Lisa Marie Presley arrived to preview Graceland's new exhibit dedicated to her childhood relationship with her father, Elvis Presley, she was overcome with emotion. "I walked in with my twins [Harper and Finley, 3], looked around, and I gasped. I couldn't tell if I was going to laugh or cry," she tells People. The exhibit, called Elvis ... Through His Daughter's Eyes, opened Wednesday (Lisa Marie's 44th birthday) and features childhood mementos including her crib, first baby shoes and a gold ID bracelet her father gave her, among other artifacts. "It was like that show This is Your Life," she says. "I walked...

Carlos Gutiérrez (John McInerny) is an Elvis impersonator and while he does not completely look the part, the man sure can sing like the King (and goes so far as to ask everyone in his life to call him as such.) Carlos spends the majority of his time watching and listening to Elvis concerts, planning his upcoming shows and eating Elvis’ favorite food (banana and peanut butter sandwiches), giving way to the idea that singing like Elvis isn’t just something Carlos is good at, he may be obsessed with the man himself. This idea is further driven home when Carlos’ ex, Alejandra (Griselda Siciliani) expresses her concerns over his affect on their daughter (named Lisa Marie, naturally) and Alejandra announces she is going to try for sole custody. While Carlos seems sad over this revelation, he also doesn’t do much to stop it, seeming to have his mind on other things. Carlos...

Kitschy paintings of doleful waifs with over-sized eyes always bring back my childhood memory. For director Tim Burton he is given his memories back in the very next episode when he commissioned Margaret Keane to paint a portrait of his one-time fiancé, Apes co-star Lisa Marie holding their pet Chihuahua. Well, things went something like [...]

New York — A personal assistant-turned-personal manager to Michael Jackson said the King of Pop had been taking propofol as early as 1999, and that the singer was drugged up ahead of his 2001 30th anniversary concerts.
Frank Cascio, who became a family friend to Jackson at age 5 and eventually one of the singer's closest friends and employees, writes in a new book that he first noticed Jackson taking the drug Demerol while accompanying the singer on his "Dangerous" tour in 1993.
He writes in his new book, "My Friend Michael: An Ordinary Friendship with an Extraordinary Man," that Jackson started the first of two anniversary shows in 2001 an hour late as a result of being drugged up in his dressing room.
"My naive belief that Michael wouldn't let his medicine interfere with the show blew up in my face," Cascio writes. "I can't begin to describe my disappointment and panic at this moment.

Drug addiction, the rise to stardom, abusive relationships … it's no wonder why everyone wants to make a movie about Elvis. THR reports, however, that there have been more than a few stumbling blocks preventing us from seeing a new film about the King. We're still looking at four unauthorized Presley movies in the making, despite the challenges that lie ahead. Apparently Ckx Inc. — the company that owns the rights to the name, image, and likeness of Elvis Presley and the operations of Graceland (including all of his music) — is just one hurdle. Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie, sold the rights to her father's intellectual property to the "tightfisted" Ckx for a whopping $100 million in 2005. Filmmakers looking to license...
