Betty Gilpin launched her acting career in the mid-2000s, starring in a number of television shows, including "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Law & Order: Svu," "Medium," and "The Good Wife." By 2013, she landed a role as Dr. Carrie Roman on Showtime's acclaimed drama "Nurse Jackie," which she appeared in until the final season in 2015. By the mid 2010s, Gilpin appeared in other TV shows, but rose to fame following her performance in Netflix's "Glow" as Debbie Eagan from 2017 to 2019. Most recently, she starred alongside Julia Roberts and Sean Penn in the historical drama series "Gaslit," and can currently be seen as Sister Simone in Peacock's newest sci-fi series "Mrs. Davis."

Broadway’s Brian d’Arcy James will join the cast of Jez Butterworth’s The Ferryman next month, leading a largely new company of replacement players in the primary adult roles beginning Tuesday, Feb. 19.
D’Arcy James will take over the role of Quinn Carney from departing cast member Paddy Considine. The actor is one of 15 new cast members announced by producers Sonia Friedman Productions and Neal Street Productions today.
All of the announced newcomers begin next month except for Orange is the New Black‘s Blair Brown, who takes over the role of Aunt Maggie Far Away from Fionnula Flanagan on Tuesday, April 16.

Like clockwork, Netflix has delivered yet another fantastic, binge-worthy show. Glow, or the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, stars 14 fabulous women who are cast in the first female wrestling show of the '80s, and, of course, none of them have any experience in the ring. Debbie Egan, a new mom and former soap star, is accidentally cast in Glow after learning her husband is having an affair with her best friend, Ruth Wilder (Alison Brie). She becomes the star of the show, taking on the all-American alter ego, Liberty Belle. Debbie Egan is played by 30-year-old actress Betty Gilpin, who has been acting for almost 10 years now.
