Wendi Peters is worried people will be ''disappointed'' with Cilla Battersby-Brown's new personality. The 46-year-old actress will return to 'Coronation Street' tonight (22.10.14) after leaving the ITV show in 2007, but has admitted that reviving her character Cilla was a nerve-wrecking experience. Talking on 'This Morning' to Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden earlier today, she said: ''I hope people aren't disappointed that she hasn't come back with the brashness and comedy. ''There are still bits of comedy in there, there are some lovely fantastic scenes that are comedy but it's just her with a little bit of heart hopefully and a...

Returning was something I had never really considered and there wasn't a point where I though I would quite like to be back.'' Wendi is to return as her on-screen...

The parents of nine year old Bethany Pardon has credited an X Factor charity video with saving their daughter’s life.
The couple noticed that a child who suffered from leukemia had a similar rash to their daughter, who had been unwell.
Dad Wayne, 38, told The Mirror: “The X Factor team were doing a charity record for Great Ormond St Hospital and one child there had the same red spots as Bethany, which we assumed was eczema.”
Bethany was later diagnosed with the disease and has since been awarded a Cancer Research UK Little Star and is about to begin her last course of chemotherapy.
Wayne, of North Walsham, Norfolk, said: “If we hadn’t seen X Factor we may never have checked it out. We had no idea she was ill.”
