Chris Wallace put Andy Cohen in the hot seat during Friday’s episode of “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”, asking if the reality TV mogul was embarrassed by “The Real Housewives” franchise.
In a rousing interview, the CNN anchor rolled clips of some of the Bravo series’ most dramatic moments, including physical altercations between the cast members.
“Are you at all embarrassed by what you do?” he asked Cohen.
“No, I’m really not,” he replied without hesitation. “Because it makes so many people happy.”
Cohen said audiences get out of “Real Housewives” what he got from watching “All My Children” as a child: an escape from reality.

And just like that, we have our first look at a superhero team-up on the final season of The Flash.
David Ramsey (who plays Diggle) took to social media to share a photo from behind the scenes of The Flash Season 9 Episode 9, airing later this year.
Specifically, the episode finds The Flash teaming up with Spartan, Green Arrow, and Kid Flash to fight a villain as the series prepares for its endgame.
News of Amell's return broke to much fanfare earlier this year.
The episode marks his first time back in the Arrowverse since the series finale of Arrow in 2020, the show that started this superhero universe.

"As soon as our final season was announced, we knew we wanted Stephen to come back and reprise his iconic role as Oliver Queen," said executive producer Eric Wallace of the big return.

Abu Dhabi, Jan 14 (Ians) Thomas Pieters and Alex Noren playing for Continental Europe took down Great Britain & Ireland’s top pairing Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry 1-up in the opening match of the inaugural Hero Cup.
That was followed by another fine result from the Frenchman Antoine Rozner, who won the AfrBank Mauritius Open in his last start in 2022, and Thomas Detry beat Tyrrell Hatton and Jordan Smith 2-up at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
Those two wins played the key role as Continental Europe led Gb&i 3-2 at the end of the first day of the three-day event,
Seamus Power and Robert MacIntyre hit back big and gave Gb&i their only full point of the day beating Sepp Straka and Adrian Meronk 4&3 in the most one-sided match of the day.

Following The Film Stage’s collective top 50 films of 2022, as part of our year-end coverage, our contributors are sharing their personal top 10 lists.
When reflecting on my year in cinema, I recognize the experience of where and when I viewed the following films as inexplicably tied to how I remember them. The theatrical experience is sacred—this is no secret. But it bears repeating in the face of certain entities whose ethos revolves around its destruction (or “disruption”). Certainly the greatest cinema transcends. I did not see my number one movie of the year on a big screen, but I look forward to a future date when I can. And after years of repeat home viewing, I was finally able to catch two of my all-time favorite films: The Thin Red Line and Groundhog Day, on the big screen in 2022—on 35mm no less. Home viewing has its place. But...

James Cameron is once again debunking the claim that O.J. Simpson was originally cast as the Terminator in his groundbreaking 1984 action movie. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who ultimately won the role, ignited the rumor in 2019 after telling The Independent point blank that “it was actually O.J. Simpson that was the first-cast Terminator.”
“Somehow [James Cameron] felt that he was not as believable for a killing machine,” Schwarzenegger said. “So then they hired me. That’s really what happened.”
Cameron has denied Schwarzenegger’s story, and he doubled down on never wanting Simpson in “The Terminator” on a recent episode of Chris Wallace’s HBO Max talk show “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace.”
“Is it true that the studio in this case wanted somebody other than Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the Terminator?” Wallace asked Cameron.
Cameron responded, “Very early on, a highly placed person at one of the two studios that funded that...

Berlinale Calls For Acquittal Of Filmmaker Tsitsi Dangarembga Following Protest Arrest
The directors of the Berlin International Film Festival are calling on the Zimbabwe government to clear filmmaker Tsitsi Dangarembga and journalist Julie Barnes or drop the case before an upcoming trial begins. Both women were arrested in Harare in July 2020 during a protest calling for for the release of journalists and for institutional reforms. Berlinale directors Mariette Rissenbeek and Carlo Chatrian said as “an institution that stands up for freedom of speech and freedom of artistic expression worldwide,” they were asking the government to end the charges against the women. “Both women have consistently campaigned for freedom in courageous and artistically compelling ways. The right to free speech is anchored in Zimbabwe’s constitution, and to deny that right to these women would be unconstitutional,” they added in their statement. Both are out on bail but were charged with inciting public violence,...
