Former NBC executive Richard Licata defended himself on Thursday against allegations of abusive behavior that led to his dismissal from the network, calling the allegations “character assassination.” The public relations veteran spoke exclusively to TheWrap after the site’s investigative report on Tuesday revealed that verbal abuse, an uncontrolled temper and favoritism during his three-year stint in the entertainment division led to an external inquiry and his departure in October. “This is all false, it’s like character assassination,” Licata told TheWrap on Thursday, referring to the allegations. He spoke by phone accompanied by his lawyer Michael Weinstein of Lavely & Singer.

Alan Carr calls out gays for homophobia, gays caused the great flood in the Bible, ask an elected official if they’ve ever had a blow job
Alan Carr is hitting back at gays who accused him of perpetuating stereotypes in his ad for PETA. “The ‘fairy’ in the @Peta campaign refers to my ‘Tooth Fairy’ DVD that’s all. Take my advice if you act like a victim you get treated like 1…Don’t worry twitter they’ll be another bandwagon you can jump on in a minute zzzzzzzzzzzzzz…Hey and before all you oh so worthy gays get back on your high horse the most homophobia I get is from gays. #selfloathing” Mostly I think it’s clever, but I’m naturally repulsed by anything PETA does.
Get a tissue. Then read this. You need to read this.
Disney has helpfully mapped the Myers-Briggs personality test to their characters.

Linda Harvey explains homeless gay youth, a peek at The Leftovers, ABC examines PrEP
Out caught up with Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees to see how he’d fared after his coming out. The good news is pretty well. Lot’s of encouragement, and very little negative. He even got some positive responses from the Lds. Just coming out to one person last year helped him. “When I heard this loving congratulations, it flipped my world around.” He does say that he’s deleted all his gay dating apps from his phone because he fears naked pictures getting out. His app of choice? Growlr.
Which Looney Tunes character are you? It says I’m Bugs Bunny, which doesn’t suck, but I’d hoped to be Marvin the Martian to match my tattoo and many of my holiday decorations.
Rep. John Becker of Ohio has called for the impeachment of Judge Timothy Black,...

Los Angeles — The show must go on, is the entertainer's credo, and it did just that in the nation's Porn Capital even after Los Angeles County voted to require performers to use condoms when filming sex scenes.
One of the industry's biggest stars, James Deen, reported for work, condom-free as usual, just hours after voters adopted the new law.
During a break in the action Thursday, however, Deen raised the same questions on the mind of everyone in La's billion-dollar-plus porn industry: Can a planned court challenge get the new law tossed out before it is even implemented? Or, perhaps this time next year, will he be making films like "Atomic Vixens" and "Asian Fever Sex Objects" in some place like Las Vegas or Florida?
The law, listed on the ballot as Measure B, was passed by 56 percent of voters Tuesday. It won't take effect until election results are certified,...

Angelenos will be voting on what may be La's most sexually explicit ballot measure ever this November.
The measure would require, for all of La County, the "use of condoms for all acts of anal or vaginal sex during the production of adult films," the La Weekly reports.
The La City Council and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa already passed an ordinance, which went into effect in March, requiring adult film actors to wear condoms at all city filming locations.
Now, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which has led the campaign for requiring condoms in porn, wants the rule to extend to all of Los Angeles County. And the group announced Tuesday that it has collected far more signatures -- 371,000 -- than the 232,000 it needed to qualify for a measure on the November 6 ballot.
The county measure is more sweeping than the city ordinance and "is modeled on County's health permit process for...
