Adam Brody has talked at length about the one that got away, and with a Flash-led movie on the verge of release, one can only wonder how things would’ve ended up had Brody’s Barry Allen made it to the big screen in George Miller’s Justice League: Mortal. The epic superhero tale fell apart in early 2007 due to the impending writers’ strike and the loss of an Australian tax credit, and it continues to be one of Hollywood’s ultimate “what if?” stories.
So, when David F. Sandberg’s Shazam! made its way to the big screen in 2019, one of the most rewarding aspects of the film was Brody’s surprise cameo as the super-powered alter ego of Jack Dylan Grazer’s Freddy Freeman. It was not only perfect casting by virtue of the two actors’ similar wit, but it also allowed for a Justice League: Mortal reunion between Brody and D.J. Cotrona,...

Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore finally got married in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, the much-anticipated 2016 Netflix revival. The wedding, in its entirety, wasn’t seen by fans due to budget constraints, but fans did learn what their wedding date was. Luke and Lorelai married on Nov. 5, in the final moments of the four-part revival. Fans of the original series assumed the November wedding date was to pay homage to Lorelai’s love of the cool weather. There may be a different reason showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino chose the date. Famed Gilmore Girls couple, Luke and Lorelai, share a wedding date with Helen Pai and her husband, Dave Rygalski.
Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore | Saeed Adyani/Netflix Luke and Lorelai’s official wedding date was Nov. 5, 2016
While Luke and Lorelai eventually tied the knot on Nov. 5, 2016, that wasn’t their first planned wedding date. Luke and Lorelai were supposed...

Lane Kim might not have been a main character in Gilmore Girls, but she still had several important storylines during the show’s seven-season run. Most were incredibly meaningful and rife with drama and angst. In season 2 of Gilmore Girls, Lane Kim was petrified that her parents were sending her to live in South Korea for good. Ultimately, the rebellious teen was only gone for the summer, as her parents promised. She didn’t need to be anxious at all. As it turns out, she vacationed in a very popular tourist destination. A real-life occurrence even inspired Lane’s trip.
Where did Lane Kim vacation in South Korea?
In season 2 of Gilmore Girls, Lane Kim found herself in an anxiety-inducing situation. Her parents told her that she would spend the summer with distant family members in South Korea. The trip, which came as a shock to Lane, concerned her for several reasons.

The only official Gilmore Girls Valentine’s Day episode is almost universally hated by fans. The season 6 episode just doesn’t have what we’d expect from an episode all about love, especially when the two main characters, Rory and Lorelai Gilmore, are both in serious, long-term relationships. While these episodes aren’t centered around Valentine’s Day, we think they are suitable stand-ins for the low-rated “A Vineyard Valentine.”
Rory and Lorelai Gilmore | Warner Bros./Delivered by Online USA ‘Raincoats and Recipes’ feels like the ultimate ‘Gilmore Girls’ Valentine’s Day episode
A list of Gilmore Girls episodes to watch on Valentine’s Day would feel incomplete without mentioning the season 4 episode, “Raincoats and Recipes.” The season 4 episode is among the most romantic and dramatic.
In the episode, Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore begin their romantic relationship on the Dragonfly Inn’s porch after arguing. They seal it with an epic kiss.

Luke Danes and Lorelai Gilmore might have been the endgame couple of Gilmore Girls, but if we are being really honest, there was a lot wrong in their relationship. There was so much wrong in their relationship that some fans labeled the couple toxic. After all, they did break up twice. While we still love Luke and Lorelai together, several Gilmore Girls couples had healthier relationships than Luke and Lorelai. We picked three. Do you agree?
Babette and Morey Dell were an ideal ‘Gilmore Girls’ couple
Babette and Morey Dell lived next door to Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. While Babette did almost all of the talking, Morey was an interesting guy, too. As a musician, he seemed content to spend time with Babette, work on his music and hang out with their cat.

Lane Kim married Zack Van Gerbig during season 6 of Gilmore Girls. They quickly had twins and settled into married life. Their relationship’s progression abruptly ended Lane Kim’s bid to become a rockstar. For years, Gilmore Girls fans have largely disliked Zack, partly because of how Lane’s storyline unfolded and partially because Zack didn’t measure up to Lane’s first love, Dave Rygalski. While Zack and Dave were inherently different people, we think Zack was just as good to Lane as Dave, just in a completely different way.
Lane Kim fell for Dave Rygalski
Mrs. Kim didn’t allow Lane to date men she hadn’t approved. There was one major problem with that. Mrs. Kim and Lane had very different ideas about what type of men she should be dating. When Dave Rygalski showed interest in Lane, she was immediately smitten. To make Dave more marketable to Mrs.

Gilmore Girls may have been mostly about the Gilmore family, but several other key characters factored heavily into the show. During its seven-season run, the series had a ton of different storylines featuring the main characters and the residents of Stars Hollow. Understandably some aspects of those storylines had to happen off-screen. Three off-screen Gilmore Girls storylines deserved some on-screen action, though.
‘Gilmore Girls’ never showed Taylor Doose becoming the town selectman again
In season 5 of Gilmore Girls, Jackson Belleville, fed up with Taylor Doose’s tyrannical management of Stars Hollow, threw his hat into the ring to become town selectman. Jackson beat Taylor by a landslide in a town election, much to his horror. A couple of follow-up episodes focused on Jackson growing tired of the job’s constant stressors. He hated being town selectman so much that he gave up somewhere along the way.

Like most Gilmore Girls fans, Adam Brody is wondering what could've been with his character Dave Rygalski. As viewers of the beloved series may recall, Brody appeared on the hit WB show in the early 2000s before starring on The O.C. During his time on Gilmore Girls, Brody played Dave, a band member and love interest of Lane Kim (Keiko Agena). And while there were many relationships on the series, fans quickly fell for the romance between Dave and Lane. However, Dave's time in Stars Hollow came to an end when he moved to California. Over the years, fans of the series have debated over which character deserves the "best boyfriend" award, from Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) to Dean (Jared Padalecki) to...

For better or worse, Adam Brody will always be remembered as Seth Cohen from The O.C. The affable and awkward teen is easy to find inside the weathered and wiser 37-year-old Brody, but the San Diego native might never be able to shake his early-aughts pop culture iconography. Despite that infamous role, Brody has had a pretty consistent career over the last two decades, playing opposite Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie in Mr. & Mrs. Smith, being directed by famed playwright Neil Labute and making guest appearances on beloved TV shows like House of Lies and The League. This month, he’s in the buddy comedy Big Bear, where he gets to sport a pretty mean mustache, and returns with the second season of StartUp on Crackle.
With two such diverse roles coming out in the same month and nostalgia for shows like Gilmore Girls and The O.C. at an all-time high, Brody sits down...

Usually, when writing these lists, we set the halfway point to define the good versus bad. But while “Gilmore Girls” does not lack for adversaries and antagonists, the fact is that so many of these characters have such charms that ranking them was a real challenge.

Only characters who appeared in more than three episodes are included below; even with that said, there are probably some we missed. (That’s what happens with a seven-season show with a rich collection of supporting characters.) Here’s everyone we’ve missed during “Gilmore Girls'” long hiatus — and everyone we haven’t.

Hey, remember when this asshole decided to crush the spirits of a talented young woman, because he could? Yeah, this guy can burn in hell.

Gilmore Girls is quite literally getting the band back together. The band being Hep Alien, naturally. Lane Kim (Keiko Agena), Brian Fuller (John Cabrera), Gil (Sebastian Bach) and Zack Van Gerbig (Todd Lowe), together again! Bach visited the Stars Hollow set and posted the above photo signaling Gil's return to Stars Hollow for the Netflix revival. No sighting of Dave Rygalski (Adam Brody). Cabrera took to Instagram to post a few group selfies of Hep Alien. "Four people who have been trying to get in another shot together for almost a decade. #ilovethesekids," he said with the photo. Bach's just the latest of a long list of Gilmore Girls veterans returning for the four-part revival series on...

Just in time for the series' arrival on Netflix, Gilmore Girls band Hep Alien reunited for a one-off performance in what looks like somebody's basement. (A much more realistic venue, to be honest, than the ones they played on the show.) Lane Kim, Terry from True Blood, and the other guy were all there! Dave Rygalski, as usual, was otherwise engaged.
